And he ain't Randy Moss, he only singled out one team for payback, the other 19 teams didn't matter.

Which was weird because the Titans took WR Kevin Dyson ahead of him and no one ever said anything.

There was the rumor that Jerry promised him they'd take him, but I never heard if that was actually true.

Sad, there was a time when players would be focused to beat or embarrass every opponent they played and not just the ones they felt slighted by:facepalm:
To be fair, CeeDee hinted around at the same thing by the 16 teams in front of us as well and wants to show them what they missed out on.

I admire his motivation, but clearly he has to back it up.

There have been far more 1st round WR busts than what he's aspiring to be.

Justin Jefferson's revenge plan: 'Every single (team) that picked a receiver instead of me are going to pay'
  • By Jordan Dajani

While the 2020 NFL Draft class was stacked with wideouts, there was one that was seemingly making a late push up draft boards. Former LSU wideout Justin Jefferson was a large part of the Tigers' undefeated 2019 campaign, and a longtime NFL offensive coordinator/receivers coach even told Bucky Brooks of NFL.com that Jefferson was one of the best receivers he's ever studied. Despite the high praise, Jefferson fell all the way to the Minnesota Vikings at No. 22 overall.

While he was still a first-round pick, Jefferson wasn't too excited that a total of four wide receivers were taken before him. During a Thursday appearance on The Zach Gelb Show on CBS Sports Radio, Jefferson said that he was definitely shocked multiple wideouts were taken over him last week.

"I mean, yes," Jefferson said. "I felt like I was the best receiver in this draft class, and being the fifth receiver off the board, it kind of was a shocker. But also having that on my shoulder going into this next season with Minnesota, I'm definitely excited to show the world what I have."

While Jefferson is confident he can quickly prove that he's a legitimate NFL receiver, he wants more than that. He wants the Las Vegas Raiders, the Denver Broncos, the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles to regret passing up on him in the first round.

"Every single person that picked a receiver instead of me are going to pay," Jefferson said. "I'm going to show them that I am the better receiver than the pick that they had. . . . I'm definitely excited to go into Minnesota and [compete] for [a] Super Bowl."

Hope our Cowboys new Defense shuts him down when we play the Vikings this 2020 season!

It will be interesting to see which WR turns out to be the 'best.' A lot of that will depend on the situation the WR is in and might not be a reflection of the talent of the WR. Lamb is in a good situation where he is on a team with a good OL, QB, and has two other good WRs on the field with him along with Zeke/Pollard. So, Lamb will most likely not see double teams. But, his numbers might be down since there is only one ball and 4 other targets Lamb has to compete with. Other WRs might get doubled a lot or get more opportunities due to a lack of available options.

Two WRs I think have a chance to be really good are Bengals' Tee Higgins and Rams' Van Jefferson. If Burrow ends up stinking and AJ Green gets hurt again, then Higgins will put up low numbers even though he may be super talented.

If there is a team he should be more pissed off about is the Eagles. They took a 2nd rounder rather than the 4th best receiver in the draft.

I still can't believe we got Ceedee Lamb right under the nose of the Eagles. They won't ever forget that.
That single pick could change the trajectory of this core for the foreseeable future.

He’s a really good player but I feel he got overrated before the draft.

He’s a round 2 guy who went in the 1st.

Where did he say he’s only going to play hard against opponents he felt slighted by?

You and your critical thinking skills .... STOP IT !!! Don't you see that the Cowboys have been called out? Circle the wagons.

I'm just glad there's now two Jeffersons at wide receiver in the NFL that we can say are "movin' on up" towards the goal line.

I don't believe that because of the reason they didn't pick him. Booger was keeping the team's image and sponsors in mind and with how Irvin had embarrassed the club, there was no way they could take Moss with the 1st pick. Booger could claim ignorance about Irvin's escapades before the fact but not what Moss had done. Slapping his gf around and let's not forget the meter maid stunt after he was a Viking. There was a reason the larger frontline schools didn't offer him a scholarship and he went to Marshall.

No one ever said anything about any team not taking Moss except the Cowboys. I thought that was a stupid as Greg Ellis having to carry that attached to himself. I have never faulted Booger for not taking Moss.

Players who say that crap always sound like 13-year-olds to me.

Doesn't he play receiver? He doesn't play another position does he?
Does he mean "every team that chose a receiver that wasn't me is going to pay?" And what is "every single person ARE going to pay?"
SEC baby! Love it.
