Probably. Until Deshaun Watson, Pat Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Kyler Murray, etc. are signed.
So, then you are supportive of Daks becoming the highest paid Qb?

Sorry, I didn’t read this before responding above.

Dak's agent is setting his teeth into top of NFL as well as Cowboys' setting pay days...but he may be losing a locker room and group of supporting fans in the same stroke.

Brandt’s top three include the Saints’ pairing of Brees and Thomas, the Falcons’ connection of Matt Ryan and Julio Jones, and the Cardinals’ new duo of the exciting Kyler Murray and All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins.

Brandt then has Dallas...

4) Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys: The selection of Oklahoma receiver CeeDee Lamb with the 17th overall pick could have a positive impact on Cooper. If Lamb is able to develop quickly, Cooper could get more snaps in the slot, where he’ll be able to wreak havoc. Even if Lamb needs a bit of time, Cooper should still make the most of the contract extension to which he’s been signed, assuming he doesn’t have to deal with anything like the leg injuries that bothered him last year. Of course, this also presumes the franchise-tagged Prescott doesn’t hold out or miss time as he waits for a new contract.

Couple this with acquiring Cee Dee Lamb, a very pro Dak move, and Dallas has more than supported Dak in his position. This being the anti-Green Bay by the team during this draft.

Now, mix in what has been done along the depth for the offensive line, and his role has been in the middle of the franchise's bulls eye. They have done their due diligence and then some, including offering and negotiating in good faith, to reward that very player.

If he doesn't quickly gain a team oriented slant, and quit buying into his glory, instead of the team...he will end up losing a ton more, that what is pictured in front of his nose.

Dak, it's time to get your butt off it's high/holy air space, and back to team and Lombardi building!
Why is it that they never discuss Gallup? He's on the break of bring a number 1 receiver himself

Dez lost some support during his big contract negotiation. Too much talking in the media.

Dak has been more professional about it. There's no Rodney Dangerfield bad blood complaining in the media about "muh respect".

Dak has been more professional about it and STILL has lost support during contract negotiations. The only common denominator is that big money is involved. Pretty easy to deduce that tidbit. Remember Dak was the poster boy for upstanding citizen (i.e., "waiting his turn") when Zeke was threatening to hold out but now Dak is also a greedy maroon when it's his turn. That's why you pay piker fans zero mind when you deal with your personal business. Hate you if you do, hate you if you don't, so do it your way.

The only potential problem I had is Dak (maybe) not showing up for some of these virtual meetings. I see him as not really wanting a contract this year, and content to play on the tag. Fine. But then don't make this show of holding out from (voluntary) workouts to "pressure Jerry". Just show up and get ready for the season, have a great year, and then squeeze Jerry, or the league, next year with your fantastic production in 2020. Not showing up now just makes his tape worse for negotiations next year.

This is done all the time. You work out while not under contract and get injured, you think the front office won't use that to take money off the table for damaged goods?

His record against winning teams is amount the best. We've had to overcome Jason Garrett for years man, but go ahead and put everything on Dak that's what haters do .. daks your qb man, you better get use to it.
don't want to get used to mediocrity , which is what dak is . His accuracy , and decision making is very erratic, and the results show it.
His record against winning teams is far below elite QBs. He is not in the level of Aaron , Brees. Wilson , mahomes, brady etc . Heck, Bridgewater ( a back up ) and Josh Allen outplayed him .
If the cowoboys over pay him, we will be stuck with him in mediocrity , just watch .

theres a part of me that is a bit salty with dak and his agent.Im a Dak supporter but I think the cowboys gave him a fair offer.

Theres another part of me that really dont care cause its not my money. And if he gets to be the highest paid then it will really tork off the annoying Dak haters and I find that refreshing. Probably very good people. Just tired of hearing the same garbage.

Only someone looking to hate would say that. It pays to be objective and that obviously isn't your strong suit. Dak didn't practice that week, he shouldn't of even been on the field. Let's also not forget the head coach was a dead man walking and the entire team checked out. Keep on spouting nonsense to support your agenda if you must but it's only showing your football knowledge, or lack thereof.

Serious question. How many Affliction shirts do you own?

Do people consider me to be a dak hater?

Serious question. I do not consider to be one myself - I merely highlight my observations supported with interesting analysis. People can agree or disagree. Everyone is entitled to their view otherwise what's the point posting on a forum!?

That’s untrue. Everyone on this board was THRILLED with Dak his rookie year. He played simply amazing that year. He has regressed since then, when we all expected that he’d improve. That’s what has soured half the fan base on Dak.
That’s a flat out lie. Many of you all were waiting every week for him to fail during his rookie season. Just as you do now. Stop the bs. You all criticize every damn play and pounce like female dogs in heat whenever there’s an errant throw or any other mistakes.

If you weren’t a hater your highlighted o sand analysists would be applied to all players and coaches too. Not just Dak. Ya know?

This is just dumb **. How can Dak regress during a season where he posted his best stats?? I can’t stand stupidity. You all have an agenda that’s plain to see. Ignorance is rampant amongst some people. Damn!!’ It’s 2020 and the entire world is in a crisis. But I see hate still prevails. SMDH. How about being honest, unbiased and without prejudice and saying THE WHOLE TEAM INCLUDING THE COACHING STAFF REGRESSED? Dak almost eclipsed the team record for seasonal passing yards set by Romo Christ, and idiots say he regressed?:facepalm:
Seems you have prejudicial intentions and you seem to be idiotic yourself by all this name calling and inappropriate accusations . You seem to be a Dak delusion subscriber. Not worth my time to explain to you that 1-6 and 8-8 is all the stats that matter .

Unlikely that Dak gets injured in *virtual* meetings.

But if Dak just signs the tag, the complaints about him wanting more money go out the window til next year, and his salary for the year is guaranteed. That's how we got humped with Spencer.
