It's just been a crazy off season and promises to be a season we shall never forget.

But which side do we land on?

I remember back when the players went on strike and we had to field a scab team to play.

All the teams were suddenly playing on a level field.

How teams dealt with the abstract protocols made them or broke them.

As Cowboy fans we thought we would take advantage and win it all.

Never happened.

So with virtual drafts, virtual interviews and social media..

are we going to rise or fall?

I asked a similar question when the illness first broke. It was way early in the process then.

Now..we have navigated the draft e exceptionally well.

Now the virtual online learning and online mini-camp is right around the corner.

So..give me your take so far and what in your opinion has to be done to get out in front of this situation.

Its obvious that Jerrah is out to rule the football world with what he has done so far.

Comments pleasr.

Oh..Jerrah sent me this via email yesterday. Who knew he was such an 80s diva?

We need to bear in mind that, no matter what, we're just one team out of 32 teams. Which is to say that no matter how hard the Cowboys improved, or what innovation we've implemented to out-smart the league, the odds are stacked against us "ruling the league" (just like they are stacked against any other of the 31 teams.) I expect marginal improvement but certainly don't expect Dallas to hoist the Lombardi in the next upcoming Super Bowl - if it does it will be a pleasant surprise.

Like the hiring of Bill Parcells JJ is taking a back seat this year so far ..... Stephen,Will and MM are running the show .
Now the Cowboys have no excuse this year but to go to the SB and dominate .anything short of that is a big failure.

Oh, it's you again. If you were this consistent taking your meds, we wouldn't be here.

As much of an optimist as I pretend to be..lol,,, I know that this team, this new staff, this nice draft, can not correct the damage done by over ten years of failure, in just one year,, that is very over the fence.
It would be absurd to lay that burden all on MM, if that's the case MM will fail.
I hope and pray that MM is given at least half the opportunity that the red headed devil was given, if so, another off season and draft next year gets this team really close.
Thinking that we are already contenders is a fools errand at this point.

JG was giving the job by JJ so the blame should go to the GM and the owner.JG was not ready to be HD.

I'd be plenty satisfied with Da Boys ruling the NFL, much less the world.
Ruling the entire world really seems somewhat overly ambitious! :omg:

On paper, I still have them tied for 6th in the NFC with PHL. They did not get better than SF, NO, GB, MN or SEA. 2 of those teams have better D's and 3 have a better QB.

But that's on paper, once they play, we know there will be at least one surprise team and at least one disappointing team. Particularly in the NFC.

He was never worthy of that assignment,, he is back where he belongs now, Giants OC... hopefully he proves he cant even handle that title.
JG is a smart man but stubborn he should have chosen to be at the management level as his career not as coach.even as an OC he won't be good at it.
