Dak even said it himself in an interview when his stats were brought up. He said something along the lines of empty stats.

I'm not sure what empty stats mean in this case. Many of our losses were within one score or less. A minute left in a game, and we score, and still down by another score, an untimely turnover (by our opponent to our benefit) or onside kick recovery changes this idea that stats don't mean much or are "empty" because they come at the end of games. As a whole things did not pan out this way. I understand stats being less significant in blowouts, but I would not apply this towards how we loss our games. Just my opinion though, but when media heads say something it seems to be gospel truth around here sometimes. The way I see it, more context should be applied as a whole, rather than just stating certain accumulated stats don't matter.

Also, if Dak said what you mentioned I your post, I have to see the interview to hear what he was asked, and what was being discussed prior to his comment(s).

Dak Prescott

He may be so, but still not elite Qb play of course his receivers dropped a lot of balls, But how many times you guys see he is hitting guys perfectly in stride , most of the times guys come back or turn around for the ball. If he improves that he can raise the game to be an elite Qb. ( As he demands elite qb money)

But only one of those QBs is bette Ethan Dak and he’s got maybe 28 months left in the NFL :)

I get your point though.

No QB is perfect

And I don't expect Dak to be perfect. Those end of game throws are a limited sample size. I give Dak a pass on the Eagles game where he shouldn't have been playing. ON the Jets game too. Not enough healthy, capable WRs on the field. That may make up the bulk of those stats. But on the face of them, it doesn't look good.

The rest of Dak's stats look great.
