Dez of all people should know the importance of a good back up QB. Now that being Andy or Dak (that will get some in an uproar :lmao2:). But he should not complain. I am a Dez fan but he needs to just shut up. He may be bitter because his 88 is taken which means he knows he will not be back, most likely. So now he lashes out about a good signing.

Sorry Dez, but you are off base on this one.

Guaranteed a good bit of this is that with Ceedee getting #88 it finally sunk in that his NFL career may be over

The Dez hate is unreal.

He literally goes out his way to tell CeeDee “congrats....you be you” and then it’s turned around like he said something wrong.

He’s clearly supporting Dak here and now you’re somehow turning it into bitterness that his career with the Cowboys is over.

Smh.

Didn't he rip Dak on his way out of town? Maybe I'm wrong.

Linehan, Garrett and Lal are the reasons he got cut. Not Prescott. People spin it a different, but its clear Bryant doesnt see it that way. He would tell us if he did lol

Your opinion is wrong, just btw.
Nope. Dak is very conservative. He likes to only make throws to wide open receivers. Its a sound approach. However, it doesn't fit with a wide receiver who doesn't get separation and relies on athleticism to come down with 50/50 balls. Dak couldn't or wouldn't throw the back shoulder end zone fade. That is what Dez made his living on. They were a bad fit. Both good players, but a bad fit together. Some people didn't open their eyes and thought Dez was done. He wasn't. He needed a qb that would throw it up and trust him to come down with it (just like he always did). Dak isn't that.

I had a buddy that wanted Higgins in the draft. I had to explain this to him. Higgins was one of my favorite receivers in the draft, but they would have been a bad fit. Lamb is a much better fit.

got it... they are the reason he failed to work in better more crisp routes.. why he became a one trick pony of jump ball in the end zone or bust.

got it.

Did he not just do the three things I mentioned 1, 2, 3?

dissing Romo is particularly rich consdiring how much of his own success, and wealth, was generated in partnership with Romo.

You can call it Dez hate if you want. I just see it as a reality check for Dez just came due and he’s struggling with it. It’s a hard thing to deal with for sure.

Jerry and Romo have benefited Dez more than anyone else in his entire professional life. To disrespect them makes Dez look like an ingrate.

Dez jersey on my wall
Dez in my signature

No hate here. Just truth telling as I see it.

no it's not bitter. but Dez is an idiot on this issue, they've offered the dude 35 freaking million, and if nothing else he's getting 31 freaking million on a tag. if all the reports are true and he's just holding out for less years so he can break the bank again when the tv deals come in, that's on Dak, that's a decision he's making, but to say pay the man because they sign a good backup is idiotic, and I love Dak and Dez.

Nope. He was top 1/3rd amongst NFL starting QBs in tight window throws.

Sounds like you just either make stuff up, or you see what you want to see.

I was simply letting you know your opinion was wrong so you had time to change your opinion.

Yes, you are.

Ha, well maybe he should have. If Dak could throw the back shoulder fade, Dez may not have gotten released. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Dak, but that's just not his type of throw.

No what he’s stating is partially truth.
Dallas should bring him on to be #4 guy just in case anything happens to CeeDee or Gallup.

Dez would still have the best hands on the team even at this age (which ain’t old), a perfect compliment for the younger WRs.
