Aikman and Staubach did in their first 4 years.

I mean since you are comparing things in posts above, figured I would compare another one for you.

Then again in Romo's first 64 starts he had 1 more regular season win, 1 more playoff appearance, 1 more pro-bowl appearance, and 1 more playoff win than Dak's first 64. Another comparison. So I suppose it still could go any way from here.

That said, I believe and hope Dak will get there.

Ok, so I will ask YOU...………………..Is YOUR analysis that Dak should have won a SB already here in Dallas with the team and coaching we have had?

Simple question...………….....

Your actually really close in your assessment and comparison,, but I would give Gallup a bump up on Harper.
Harper was the result of being an exploited skill set, meaning that he was in the right situation at the right time, I would grade Gallups value higher there.
Harpers entire career was transcended by a few nice catches at critical times, in critical games,, I seem to remember the long sideline pass that got us a critical
3rd and long maybe in the championship game vs the 49ers, it was a long time ago, so I may be wrong on the specific game, but I am firm in my memory of that catch.
It made Harper,, is what it is, but I take Gallup and his versatile skill set any day over a one trick pony in Harper.
I believe he went to Tampa after free agency scavenged us,, and faded away.
Anyway, sorry for the long rant about Harper... lol

Harper was the deep thread and he did it well. I would say that overall, Gallup has a better skill set. But that is splitting hairs. Harper did in clutch moments.

What does "fine" mean?

Aikman isn't winning any titles with the team we had last year and Garrett.

So what? The Cowboys haven't sniffed a SB for 25 years and Dak has only won a wild card game in 4 years.
We've seen what Dak can do and he isn't IT! Dak can pack. Time for fresh blood and Dalton is legit with this
offense. Now is the time for the non-exclusive tag.

What does "it" mean?

So are you saying Dalton has "IT" and Dak doesn't?

I very much like Dalton as a backup. Great backup.

It is rather comical however, that you Dak trolls now seem to be hitching your horse to Dalton. Doesn't that fly in the face of everything you say about Dak?

Poor trolls are going to be disappointed either way.

Unfortunately, Dak is just like Trubisky and all those other pretend franchise QB's. He is the consumate coach killer. He easily wins the little games and loses the big ones.
Dalton is much the same but, he isn't costing Jerry 30mil a year to do it. When Jerry finds the next Aikman, Brady, or Brees the Cowboys will win again. Dalton will have to
do until or if that day comes again. Dak can pack.

Let me know when the next Brady and Brees comes along. LOL

Poor guy. I look forward to what the Cowboys can accomplish with a REAL HC. So far its been amazing the changes and issues addressed in one offseason.

Dak is a great young QB about to enter his prime that no longer has to endure the horrid Garrett and his coaching staff.

Dak blossomed last year under a REAL OC in Moore throwing for nearly 5000 yards and 33 total TD's. Dak has played big in big games in the past, won playoff game and is #1 in the NFL in 4th quarter wins since he entered the league.

Simply cant be clutch every time when the horrid Garrett is your HC and the rest of the team doesn't show up.

Dalton is a great signing and will be a great backup.

I'm sorry but, you must have watched a different team for the last 4 years that I did. Dak will never be a franchise QB. QB's HAVE to be accurate with passing and Dak can't hit a peach basket from 10 yrds. He's wild and passes in the dirt, high and wide or 3ft behind the receiver. He has the skills in college or he doesn't and Dak doesn't. Dak can pack!

With his weapons and with a competent coach, I think Dak has a shot at breaking a lot of passing records. I hope they go to a ball control offense, but I think MM is gonna air it out and Dak will be the BEST QB in Cowboys history...
I see you've figured out the formula for hoarding likes.

I think Dak is going to cure world hunger.

Start sending 'em people!

I think he could break some record but so did Marino but never got a SB ring. Dak needs to get those big wins this year.

I’d settle for him not going into a shell against good teams.
