Is 93rd on pff average starter? More like bad starter jag backup
Simple, he's run stuffing nose tackle only, and brings little to no value as a pass rusher, but does a decent job of clogging up the middle against the run because he's a strong, squatty dude that doesn't give up much ground against double teams.
He seems to wear down after 15-20 snaps though, so he makes a better backup.
Though the run defense wasn't GREAT with him last year, it absolutely fell off of a cliff without him when he missed games (Packers Aaron Jones 4 TD game ring a bell?).

There is an excuse in the Philly game, Dak was playing through an injury that would keep most QBs on the bench (and Wentz in the ICU). He overthrew every pass he made, something he hadn't done in the other 63 starts of his career. Amari Cooper had 4 catches in 12 targets, which tells you something was going on with Dak.
My feeble brain isn't remembering the injury. What was it?

I was glad to see Woods signed, I think he provides good depth within the rotation. He is not a guy I want getting a majority of snaps within a game but rotating in I feel very good about it.
