This. No need to sugarcoat this ****, Dalton has been ass. But there’s enough talent here that he should be able to not lose a game or two if needed.

Crazy but Dalton is our backup and better than at least a few starters in the league.
He could come in and win a game or two if he had to, but he isn’t challenging Dak.
Great pickup by us, shocked one of several other teams didn’t make a play for him.
He should buy us bridge time until the Nooch is ready to dominate...

that is not completely true - it was more about making sure the Bengals got the #1 pick

Not saying I agree that Dak is looking over his shoulders cause I think Dak is a way better QB

He needs to hit more passes like that one to Gallup at 1:15, that's an elite QB pass... he throws way too many high or behind, he'd throw 5+ more TD's a year if he could just learn to hit guys in stride more often. It's so frustrating to see WR's get open and have to slow down or turn around because Dak lacks the accuracy (like the pass at 2:25 with a clean pocket).

Dak is so much better when his feet are set and hes not stepping backwards.

Id like to see him improve on that, and throwing behind guys who are crossing the field. If he gets those two areas squared away he becomes much more accurate.
