Dak is selfish, greedy, and obviously not a team player. I'm ready to move on as well.

Amen, brother.

You would think even the misguided who love him would be turned off by the way he's handled these negotiations. He's a me player.

Emmitt Smith was a me player too. The difference is Emmitt was great and Prescott isn't. When you have a guy like this wanting the richest contract ever given in league history it's time to move on. You'd have to be clinically insane to think he's worth it. The guy can't even throw the full route tree.

Nobody cares about Dak’s statistics.

Dak’s feasts on bad teams and a lot of you stick out your chest because of it.

Meanwhile we can’t even move the ball on good teams and you guys start crying about the defense when they are holding on for as long as possible all game.

Dak is a good solid QB and simply not worth his price tag and unfortunately for you guys we don’t play NYG and Washington every week.. (The 2 teams he throws 14 of his 30 Touchdowns against).
Oh yeah, let's intentionally leave out the league leading 51 drops by our WRs which killed many drives, the league leading missed FGs kicker who is no longer with the team and who cost the team at least 2-3 wins (and the playoffs), the league leading worst Defense with the least amount of turnovers, one of the worst in missing tackles and one of the worst in giving up yards and time of possession, one of the league's worst special teams, and especially, one of the worst coaching staffs in the league (hence why all but 3 got fired).

But, hey, it's simply much easier just to blame all of that on Dak. Meh.

Tell me why it’s ridiculous.

Don’t just give me a 1 liner like that.. Say something.

I’ve given reasons why.

Stephen just last week said they had a number that they aren’t moving from and they turned around and signed Dalton this week.

The signing of Dalton was a move for leverage in negotiations.

He will continue to play around and come otas and training camp when Dalton is showing he can do a little more than him. He will be SOL.

Not only do you lose all the extra money(endorsements) by not hanging around here, no other team will give you that, unless they get desperate and their starting QB has a career ender or retires. Even then they might be skeptical.

I do not care...

Had Patrick Mahlmes wide outs dropped every single pass thrown to them this year I can still take 1 look at Mahomes and see that his skill level is on another level.

Dak is what he is.. A solid player at best..

Dak is ruining his standing with the fanbase. Most fans are willing to stomach a modest contract in hopes that he can eventually become top tier - playoff quality, but this leveraged power play is ruining his #1 asset, likeability. He looks the part and was seemingly loyal, but now even Skip Freaking Bayless has had enough,,, yikes.

Maybe the Cowboys can add language to the contract that if he reaches the NFC championship game he gets a big bonus and years taken off... I could live with that,,,, "bet on yourself" Dak.

Let him play here with Zeke, pass protection, and the best WR group in football.

Then go throw Dak up there in Cincy..

I’d love to see that experiment take place.

For 3 million Dollars Dak can not outplay Dalton by 32 million Dollars because they are similar players in ability.

Exactly, I'd love to see this.

It's not "lip service" what-so-ever. It's 100% correct. Dalton won't get in a game unless Dak gets hurt or during garbage time when the game is basically done.
I agree, I was just leaving that 5% for Dak to hold out all year.

There isn't even a snowball's chance in hell he sits out training camp or even misses one single game by his own choosing. Dak is the man in Dallas. It's his team.

Dak has owned Philly until their last meeting when Dak was playing injured. Learn the history of this match up before you mouth off or you end up saying silly stuff like you just did.

Without Zeke remember the beating we took in Big D by these Eagles?
Ya guess you forgot that one?
Or how about when the Eagles didn't care and Dak could only score 6 points on their 3rd stringers in Philly in week 17?
Ya I know you forgot due to your Dak-love I guess....

Agreed. Either your going to have to build a top 5 defense to go deep in the playoffs with Dak or punt and go after a better QB (which there are no guarantees). So far I don't believe, the DC gives any credence to building a dominant defense so there's plan B to go after a better QB if they really want to compete for a SB.

I don’t think signing Dalton was just about Dallas signing a good backup QB..

They did this to gain leverage in negotiations and if things go south they can go to Dalton.

Signing Dalton is not really a Dallas Cowboy type of move and it sounded like Jerry was done with that after Kyle Orton.

Something is up.
hope so. enough games. if dak thinks he's all this and a bucket of unprocessed cheese whiz, let him go find out. i'd rather roll with dalton now anyway.

2016 - beat the iggles twice
2017 - split the season with the iggles
2018 - beat the iggles twice
2019 - split the season with the iggles

That's a career record against the iggles of 6 wins 2 losses. Dak owns theses bums so shut the hell up.
