5 other teams were interested in Dalton but he choose Dallas because he felt it was his best option to start. This goes against narrative that he will just be good boy and hold clipboard for Dak....na he came to start!

Time will tell.

Dak and his agent have overplayed their hand. If they continue doing that at least now the Cowboys have a fallback option.

Part of me wants to see Dalton play and see if the offense can do as well without Dak.

Dak will make roughly 10 times as much money as Dalton this year.

Because Dak’s market value blows Dalton’s market value out of the water.

That’s what superior stats and a superior W/L record will do, I suppose.

I know it hurts.

Definitely a possibility. There is the 4m in incentives so the door is slightly open.

I just want a good ole fair QB competition and may the best man win. Hasn’t been a legit competition here in years.

Whether it be Dak, Dalton, or The Nooch, I hope MM will let them compete fairly and openly.

We should have taken Jalen Hurts in the 2nd round instead of Trevon Diggs.

The more I look at that draft class the worse it is. I'm at a B- now.

You mean like those fair competitions we had with previous qb?

highly unlikely not Jerry’s MO but hey I’m not opposed to it as we already have top10 player and if he gets beat out that means the cowboys get better

After the draft i'm not sure many teams were starving for Dalton's services. Dalton probably will use this year to work on himself, learn, then come out in free agency working the deals hard to be a starter somewhere else next year. It's unlikely Dak holds out but that too would benefit Dalton.

I know Dak-detractors aren't the brightest, but "choose" vs "chose" shouldn't be overly difficult.

And even if you use a little bit of context clues you'll know what you're saying is stupid. He chose Dallas because of the location. He's in fort worth all the time. You can catch him at this Sushi joint off West 7th during the offseason.

It really just shouldn't be this hard.

He chose Dallas even though other opportunities he could have started(NEP and Jax).
