Week 1 - Giants

Week 14 @ Baltimore
Week 15 @ Pittsburgh
Week 16 @ San Francisco
Week 17 @ Philly

The schedule is delayed because the NFL was trying to make all of the games overseas to avoid having to make a decision about fans in the stands. Also, healthcare seems to be a little better overseas when players start getting sick.

01 was the only year they didn't win a shortened season.

That's because 2001 wasn't shortened, just delayed a week after it had started.

Would you please shut up about the season being canceled. It's as if you are trying to wish it into existence. Negative vibes just bring everyone down. The NFL as always gets it right. Nothing to talk about after setting records with the draft. So the NFL releases the schedule two weeks later. Friday all we will be talking about is who plays who.

30 years ago predicting SOS was a meaningful endeavor. The league changes so much from year to year now it’s almost meaningless. Teams like Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Atlanta, etc. would win 10 games or be picking top 5 in the draft and neither would surprise anyone.

Well basically, we had no two consecutive home games. I don't recall this ever being the case previously. It was jacked up.

Yeah, it probably is pretty rare... but we did have the unique situation of having the first game home, the last game home, and the Thanksgiving game home. If any of the remaining five home games were consecutive, we probably might have been looking at a three game road trip somewhere to offset that.

ill be happy

nothing is worse than waiting until sunday or monday night those games should be outlawed

I could have sworn they didn't play the week 2 games and didn't make them up.
Of course, after a Google search, I can see that I misspoke in my earlier post.

I can live with Monday night, but Sunday nights are brutal after watching games all day, then you gotta deal with Collinsworth, then get crap for sleep.

Baseball postseason same deal. Starting a game at 8:40 eastern to cater to west coast people is horrible.
