Do you think Dez would have been brought back if they did not draft CeeDee?

Methinks Dez was never in intention to come back to Cowboys ....despite the Dez mania rooters pushing for him to be so

...of course out of past respect for Dez and all of his past player contributions, the Cowboys organization won't come right out and
say hell "naah, we're good, now get the hell away from here "

since he is one of Jerry's boyz, he's a likely ciche for the Ring of Honor, down the road.
But the playing days from a guy that is gonna be 32 years old in Nov., coming off an achilles heel -which is probably the most difficult injuries to recapture the previous form from, ..and add that to a guy that was already having separation issues even before he was cut here, ..and he's never be noted as a technical route runner. He's always relied on brute strength and we saw how less of that could free him up

plus Lamb is here - and that sealed as any 3rd WR - and leave the 4th and 5th guy to younger, quicker, guys of the future, instead of welcoming back a guy that
is gonna constantly be creating all kind of social media tweeting issues and locker room distractions . he keeps thinking he has a permanent stamp of approval to play here with the Cowboys... he's not trying to just get back into the NFL - he wants it to be strictly Cowboys and tryin to use Jerry sympathy to ride it.

we need a fresh start in a new direction - we dont need any of these " snake" fights with a drama queen goin' on here.
Geeez....Let Dez rejoin Red up there in the Big Apple .. !

Pretty clearly “no.”

Exactly...………..I have no idea where people are getting the idea from that Cowboys were interested in signing Dez back.

Its not just the Cowboys, ALL 32 TEAMS are free to sign Dez today and yet nobody is giving him a call, gee, I wonder why?

Dude is done...….…….he was never a great route runner, he just relied on his athleticism to high point jump balls basically.

That is all good and well until you have a Jones-Frank fracture, a torn achilleas, high ankle sprains, then all of sudden you cant out jump most defenders so you have to rely on your route running to get separation. Problem is, Dez never worked on his route running so he cant get any separation anymore.

So you are an NFL WR who is over the age of 30 and you cant run routes nor win jump balls...……and people are surprised 32 teams say "nah, we good".

NO I DON'T. MM doesn't need or wanna be saddled with that task...the Dez Bryant factor...the good and the bad. Unfortunately the bad tends to outweigh what he can do for us now. NOT WORTH THE RISK.

ITS WEIRD LOL..same folks that wont allow the Romo thing to die. Dez would be signed by a team right now if he was good enough to be a pro. No one mentions that fact. He isn't even getting looks. Which is very telling.

Just curious. Do you think Dez would have been brought back if they did not draft CeeDee? Do you think it’s still possible he is brought back? If he comes back do you think he will behave and be a contributor?

My view is:

Definitely- Yes

I think there is a 10 pct chance. If someone gets hurt 90 pct.

I believe he would help out. I also think he would behave. He knows this is his last chance.
no way he would have been brought back. the organization showed zero interest. in fact, less than zero interest in Dez. however, Desperate Dez knew his only real chance in getting back to NFL were the cowboys and desperately tried, by posting his twitter videos of him working out, etc.....
