Mara and the Giants hired Garrett, and will take anyone else that may have insight/intell...

He's probably glad to be out of the limelight. In NY, he can be a regular working man, own a house in a nearby subdivision and be reunited with Garrett who holds him closer to the heart.

They also claim his $2.1 million contract. Seems like the smart thing to do was to let him pass through waivers and sign him to 3rd year minimum.
Seriously. They couldn’t really think someone else was gonna claim him.

And they wasted their waiver priority, which is hilarious.

Garrett is so predictable :lmao2:

Funny thing is some Giants fans are drinking the Garrett Kool Aid like "Bro, trust Garrett. You saw how great of a playcaller he was for Dallas in 2007. Lousy head coach but great playcaller. He's bringing that smash-mouth football offense bro!" :omg:

Great for him. He's going somewhere where he's valued and staying in the league.

I wish Cooper Rush a long and happy career as a backup QB in the NFL. It makes sense for the Giants to grab him, since the pandemic is affecting training camp time, and Rush knows Garrett's offense. Laugh all you want, but this is actually a sensible move for the Giants. Also, Rush isn't guaranteed a roster spot in the Fall. If he earns a backup job, more power to him.

Frankly, I understand why people wanted Garrett to move on, and now he has. But I don't understand the visceral hatred for the man. He never gave the Cowboys less than 100% effort, and he was part of the organization for a very long time. He tried, and failed.

Is failure a valid reason to hate the man?

I guess Garrett needed some security at the QB position in case Daniel Jones falters! After all, Garrett groomed Rush! :lmao2:
