I never said OL wasn't important, but tell me if you think WR is more important than OL? if you had your choice of taking a guard in the top 10 and a WR. if you had your choice of signing a HOF WR vs. a Guard. who would you take? come on dude, you are stretching into something you have no clue. you sound desparate, clinging onto anything trying not to sink....you are taking Martin over AJ Green.... its utterly stupid to think Dalton is a better QB than Dak and plus you were shown that everyone and every publication and every sport writer thought Dak was the top 2020 FA, on top of that you just insulted McClay who is our scout and McCarthy who is the new head coach by claiming you know more than them.....I guess the NFL FOs should be searching for you, given your level of knowledge about players....AWSOME..

The question isn't really whether Dak is better than Dalton, I'd give him an edge overall, but they're actually probably pretty close statistically, I honestly haven't looked. Anyway, the question is whether you can get similar production out of a QB that will cost you 4 times less which will allow you to beef up other positions. I think the answer is yes.
So, keep Dak tagged, let them have an open competition in camp and see what happens. If Dak is far and away the better QB then you have your answer. If it's close, you have a decision. If Dalton outperforms, then you have an easy decision.

Marvin Jones, Sanu and AJ Green are better than any WR unit the Cowboys have fielded in the last 4 seasons. So no we haven't had a much better WR unit. And Cinci's defense during those seasons were light years better than ours. Reggie Nelson had more INTs than our entire D! And then there's Geno - an all pro stud. In 2015 the Bengals had 8 pro bowlers.
Nothing you said was true except for the OL stuff which is irrelevant anyways.

Whatever it's worth, it'd be interesting to see what another decent qb can do with this offense. Who knows, maybe Dalton is another Aikman waiting for a loaded offense to come his way.
