If you actually take the time to watch the video the man has a point. It IS odd he'd sign here for 3 million.

It's happening, bros.

I am buying into the theory that with all the uncertainty going into the season with the virus, he wanted to be close to home and couple that with a tepid market for his services as a starter.

Dak is the starter for the Cowboys going forward.

3 million is kicker money. We're talking about a starting QB here. He's not taking that deal unless Jerry looked him in the eye and told him he was done with Prescott.

Dalton has a year to convince the Cowboys they don't need to draft one in April.

This was a great segment, I think Shannon won.

Yes - Dalton wins and Jerry wins. The rest they argued was semantic.

If Dak holds out, he's going to make all of his haters eat lots of crow when Andy Dalton gets exposed for the chump he is today and the losses start piling on.

At that point he asks for $50mn a year and he's out of here next year anyway.

No one wants to get to that point.

Lots of assumptions in that. Chief among them is that a place like Jax or NE offers a better chance to start. This is an outside opinion and not an inside opinion. Maybe..just maybe no other place gave him a real chance to start and he decided to stay near their off season home in Dallas and take a chance that he plays a game or two and parlays that into a starting gig next year.
