Not really sure what your weird fetish is for East Texas except that it produced the NFL's currently greatest player in Pat Mahomes, but it has zero to do with me.
I went to college in WEST Texas and have always lived in Dallas.
As for employment I am a cloud architect for Dell Technologies with a current customer that is based split between Chicago/London.
I did some cooking back in college tho... nothing wrong with that.
Certainly wasn't British food which is literally the world's worst.
I pour a mean bowl of cereal.

The only thing that is simple is that we got and very high quality backup for Dak, and for 3 mil.

I seriously care for none of what you posted. All Dak has ever done is say the right thing and act the right way. Now all of a sudden the issue is the length of his contract (rumor). Cowboys want 5 years and he wants 4...again, rumor. If this is, in fact, true, why does Dak want less years? I thought this was where he wanted to be? In the end, it's all about your actions and currently his actions seem to be different from what he's been saying since he's put the Star on...

Honestly, the whole thing is boring. A rich owner disagreeing with a rich athlete about a few million when they are both making millions. I think the NFL needs a year off and to see that the fans can and will find something else to spend their time and money on. It's getting to the point where who wants to $500 on nosebleeds, $10 hotdogs and $10 beers. I'll go ride my Harley instead...

wanting a shorter term deal doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to be here, and they’re not both making millions, one is on the verge of making millions, the other is making and has been making billions.

No it means he’s being greedy and still feels slighted by being drafted in the 4th. Wants to be able to cash in sooner rather than the length the team wants.. the Doesn’t care if he hamstrings the team for years since he’s delusional and thinks he can carry a mediocre team like his idol Brees which he cannot. He excels mostly by gaining chunks of yards in the middle of the field and not so great when it counts against higher caliber clubs..just like Romo.

He tends to put the ball outside his receivers catch radius too often. Top QBs don’t throw the ball the dirt.

That said he has some very good qualities and intangibles but needs a reality check.

I vastly disagree with almost everything you said, and specifically because you said it as if you have some keen insight. You don’t

A smart quarterback also knows when to throw the ball away, or at least make it catchable only for his receiver. This season, I look for that opening to come more frequent as well as better open receiver routes for him to select.

Wow, EagleRoy might not understand english. Its either that or he is trying to deflect since Eagle fans want Dallas to give Dak a massive contract and he doesn't want people to realize that.

EagleRoy just trying to convince real cowboy fans that giving the 10th rated passer in the NFL the biggest contract is a good idea or screw with them. Just another troll trying to get a rise out of real cowboy fans.

Am I doing this right or should I add more "LOL" and "LMAO" to my posts?

And what do you think Eagles fans just did with Wentz? LOL Troll

Cut Mahomes in two years!!! Dalton is taking us all the way!!! LOL

You can throw shade at me any time you like, chef, but I'll be damned if I will let you throw asparagus at British cooking!
British cuisine fed the RAF, it nourished Capt. Cook and Bly, it kept the Pilgrims alive during the purple plague from Belgium and, later, after a big beer burp, le cuisine de Isles inspired Johnny Rotten to pen "God Save the Queen," which made me mum teary-eyed.

Nay, I will not let a yahoo from East Texas rebuke the Queen's table!
I will fight you, chef, shirtless and mano a mano in the streets of Coventry where cooking awards line the marbled halls of the Fish N Chippy franchise.
You, who grew up eating alligator and turtles in East Texas and armadillo and rabbits in West Texas, cannot and must not disparage British food.I

The 500-member Forum will back me on this and everything! Right you raggedy ruffians!!
Do not prevent from lunging at the East Texas chef Terrell, you Yanks!!

Fight me knave! I will slap you with me gauntlet then throw it on he ground.
I will not let this slight pass!
Ole BTB can’t quite see why laughter should escape from behind menus offering cullen skink, bloaters, rook pie, Dundee and droppings, and pigs trotters.... imagine that.
Beans for breakfast for you as penalty.

No Superbowls to add to that resume? Interesting. Shows what’s really important to some of you “fans.”
That remains to be seen but the rest really isn't.
Dak will hold those mantels in all likelihood.
And it's very possible he has great playoff success given this team and it's coaching staff sooner rather than later.

So you basically cooked for Dak in college.

Your posts make TOTAL sense now!
Your name being starving makes total sense now.

I might have cooked for Dak's parents if they drove about 10 hours West but he is a bit too young to have eaten when I was a line cook in 91-93.

The larger truth is Andy Dalton will quite likely not take a snap of meaningful football for the Dallas Cowboys.
And he will move on having been less impactful than Cooper Rush.
But he is one heck of an insurance policy at 3m.
And he made a mature decision to accept a top back up role at home where he doesn't have to drag his family anywhere during COVID.
He can chase a starting gig next off-season.

my dude as is always the case, you could have done anything else but responded here which suggests you are incorrect about ignoring actual games....

facts are facts and the prices will only go up and players salaries only rise.
if you can't deal with that then yes doing anything other than posting about sports seems a good choice for you.

With the predicted shrink in salary cap in 2021, the likelihood Dak gets the deal he wants is actually becoming a dream for him at this point.

Look, matey, when this is all over, we'll be having pints 24 hours a day. Maidens from Leichester will bring us tankards of mead and Ms. Busty will dance the bossa nova with us in the square.
We'll watch Max Gail movies until dawn in tuxedos.
Ah, life!

Sounds good but if I have a choice, I'd rather watch Benny Hill GTB!

To me the Dalton signing was like adding a cheap insurance policy to whatever his contract is.

Dak gets hurt, Dalton starts.

Dad struggles Dalton a more proven QB than Cooper Rush.

Id like to see Dak succeed and end our drought of no serious competing for the big one.

The Marinelli D had as much to do with playoff losses as Daks performances. e.g. convert 3rd and 20 vs Packers. All D ...

Related point....

Many forget that Jimmy J wasn't really sold on Troy A, and used a pick to get Steve Walsh who he knew and trusted...

Aikman , along with some great help on the O Line, and D, rose to the occasion.

Hopefully we will see lightning strike again with the way the new Coaching team has built the roster.....
