If released in theory. would Dak start elsewhere?

Part of the problem is people are throwing words around without thinking about what they even mean.

Like if you think Dak is average, that means about half the league's starting QBs are worse, and about half the league's starting QBs are better. That's literally what "average" friggin' means.

If you think he's average, it makes no sense to think he can't get a job starting anywhere else in the NFL. It's contradictory.

I don't, but neither do I see Nathan Peterman, which is somehow what the more extreme critics here seem to sincerely believe, somehow.

I do find it funny that people somehow think Jerry is a bad GM, and Jason Garrett was a bad head coach, and the coordinators were bad most of the time... yet somehow playing on the Cowboys is easy mode and any putz could go 13-3 here? None of that adds up at all. So some of you simultaneously think that everything about the organization was moronic, but also that it's the greatest place any QB could possibly get to play?

Say what now?

I agree, with your take on Dak, he's not a HOF QB but he's not a nobody either. That's completely fair.

He has had his own set of issues to deal with in Dallas but there again, if you have a competent staff, is Dak even named starter in his Rookie year? Would he be a starter now? Would he be evaluated as the best possible solution for us at QB? Would he have already won a Super Bowl? Just too many factors involved there, to know for sure.

In an absolutely impossible scenario, but I CAN DREAM can I? If Dak gets released will be be the absolute starter in any other team?

What are your thoughts?
Sadly, I think that Dak is a very good BACKUP.
this is what we call a troll but I am bored and stuck at home so I will play along

yes, he would start for Washington, Chicago, Jags, Chargers, probably indy taking him over noodle arm rivers, new England would be all over him....ALL OVER HIM....bilicheck is not stupid like some people I know...pittsburg, as Roth is now fat and over weight and injured, Broncos, would jump all over him,

you are way too stupid, big idiot to think he is not starter worthy....you just called McClay, McCarthy, Stephen and Jerry stupid and you are claiming you know more that them...now that's dumb

Why should i compare Dak to those HOFers? Honest question.

I want you to think hard about the original post I responded to before answering.

I don't think you should, but it's to late, it was done earlier in the thread right?

I agree with you. I just think we deserve a better QB and that he is not realizing that he is an AVERAGE QB AND INSTEAD is asking for money that he is not worth

so a guy that hasn't had a losing record yet wouldn't start on any other team?
this (type of ) guy hated us signing cooper claiming cooper is not a top 15 WR, he hated zeke, didn't want us to sign him, he was absolutely against signing Lawrence, but he wanted us to trade for Jamal adams and pay him 18 mill a year in a new contract because Jamal Adams= superbowl win in his mind, he also wasn't a big fan of Romo and ragged on Romo….

The reason i THINK DAK has had success is because of the Talen around him.
I am starting to think that Romo would have done better if he had not been benched. I also think this team would perform better with a more capable QB
but according to you cooper wasn't a top 15 WR and shouldn't have been resigned?

and I wasn't aware Witten was such a talent. we should have kept him

Honestly, I don't think any of them are worth the money so it's not just a Dak thing for me. I think he has areas in his game where he is certainly way above average. I think there are areas in his game where he is not even average, at times. I think that if you can manage the cap, you can win with him but you can't find yourself in a situation where you are cap strapped because at this point in his career, he can't do it on his own. He needs really good talent around him to possibly win a championship. You gotta manage that cap, it's not personal for me. If we can't hammer out a deal that allows for this then I'm in favor of moving on. Wish him luck, take the two high picks and save the cap.

That's just my opinion on it.

I DO dislike him now.
I DID NOT a few seasons ago.

The reason I personally dislike him NOW is because, IMO, he is just an AVERAGE QB THAT is not on this senses and is demanding TOP DOLLAR that is is not worth.
this response clearly shows you are speaking out of both sides of your arse….first you say he is only back up material. he is not good. then you say he is average and only reason is because he wants top dollars....so if he was on a rookie contract, you would still want him...and you also just said you Personally dislike him, to you its personal... and its all about the contract that you are taking it personal

you have to be drunk out of your arse to post this drivel. there is no other explanation. except you have to be really stupid

"Average"and "not better than any of the current starters" are two different things.
:hammer:

that's when you know someone deliberately is trying to be a troll. they don't have a cohesive thought, just wanting to argue about something....

he must be leeblair….sounds a lot like him...total drivel. nonsense. never makes any sense in any posts
