Mickey: Luck keeps rolling Cowboys way

Some good stats and info on Dalton for those that can't think he could lead us to some wins.

Especially the year he had the Benga's at 10-2, going very well, until a broken Thumb derailed it. AJ McCarron, which I remember some wanted him as our QB or a back up, then to replace Romo. Went 2-2 and lost in the 1st round in the playoffs. So for those that think it was Dalton losing that game, as a Bengals loss in the playoffs, it was not him.

This was written before the Can Erving signing as well.

Those Dalton good stats were from 2015 and beyond when he was younger. What have Dalton's numbers been like since 2016 and sooner now that he is older?

Dalton is the best backup in the NFL.
Dak is a Top 10-ish QB in the NFL.
Dalton is an average starting QB in the NFL.
Dak is better.
Dalton with this roster could be very good.
Dak with this roster is still better.
Dalton with an extra $30 million to spend on this roster, who knows if that's better, worse or equal than Dak with the current squad.
Long story short, the Cowboys are in a great QB situation no matter what.

The playoff game he didn't play in was the game the Bengals had the best change of winning.

Im actually a little bit excited to see Dalton in a system for the first time in his entire career surround with loaded talent around him.
Wouldn't that be a great way to end a career on a high note.
