Is playing the skins on Thanksgiving slowly becoming a tradition all of a sudden?

I also love the late bye.
Speaking of byes can you or any older cowboys fans fans confirm have we ever gotten our bye week scheduled the week(week 11)before the thanksgiving game

Lol, we gonna lose our first 3 games. You have much faith in Goff and Ryan. Didn’t we score 40 on the Rams with a injured Dak and Garrett coaching.
Rams are in for a big slide,i predict they will dump Goff in a year or two.

Weird question: why is CLE vs. DAL (week 4) being broadcasted on FOX and NYG vs. DAL (week 5) on CBS? I was under the impression that the away team affiliation dictated the broadcasting station... not that I'm going to complain about a Romo-Nantz broadcast, just genuinely curious

Its interesting how the more things change from year to year the more they stay the same because I am pretty sure the division will still come down to week 16 against the Eagles.

Bear with me while I predict it to there: @Rams is a win and @Seahawks is a loss. I do not know what to think of the Falcons or Browns so lets assume a split there and a 2-2 start with Giants being a win to reach 3-2. Commanders is also a win, but I do not know what to think of the Cardinals either with their additions and young QB. So between Cardinals @Eagles, vs Steelers, @ Vikings, I think lets assume 2-2 (its probably more likely a 1-3 but it cancels out the start prediction) so that is 6-4. Commanders is a win and @Ravens is a loss and Bengals is a win so 8-5 49ers is a loss so 8-6 and boom that brings us to week 16 against the Eagles like for the division with the last game being a win. So overall a 9-10 win prediction for the season.

on defense. Yes 100%.

Lose Vänder Esche and the oft injured Lawrence and this thing is bottom of the league.
LVE had better play like he did in '18 instead of '19. He was stinking up the joint even prior to injuring his neck.

With Dak this has 7-9 to 8-8 written all over it.
With Dalton look for 10-6 or 11-5.
This offense is stale and burnt out, therefore, I conclude with a more Qualified QB at the helm it will bring the most needed new MOJO to propel us into the playoffs maybe even the NFC championship game.

This team stands to be pretty beat up by the time they get to their bye week. The Commanders, Eagles and Steelers stretch promise to be three really physical games. Depth on the team will be critical with such a late bye week.

They played the Thursday night after TG in 2007, and also the past several years IIRC, so it can probably be expected moving ahead.

Maybe this is supposed to eliminate some sort of advantage teams used to complain that we had by playing on TG at home every year.

Nevermind that this happens to every team that hosts a Thursday game weekly, and we still get the 10 days off the following week anyway.

Am I the only one a bit irked with Jerry for asking to open the Rams stadium?

It just feels like a perfect example of him putting headlines and publicity over winning to me.

Hopefully, they aren't walking into a buzz saw.

Not that that isn’t a winnable game and all but I see what you’re saying and I agree. Of course Jerry wants the spotlight to show case his new SB winning head coach and shiny toys. It’s such a Jerry thing to do.

no, but I suppose my overarching frustration lies in weekday games in general to be honest

oh well, who am I...

That Thursday game against Ravens I was going to go to. Ravens Stadium is like 70 mins from where I live.

Just a little nervous now with C-19 going on. I cant bring myself to buy tickets.

With England supposedly having a vaccine out by September, there is still hope.

No reason to buy tickets that far in advance. You never know what's going to happen in between now and then even without the current situation.

Secondary market seats are always available for any event, and prices generally go down, not up, the closer you get to the event.

Trust me there. I've flown all around the country many times for Dallas games without having tickets in hand. I've never once had an issue.

I still say if this thing isnt under control by then, we have far bigger issues than NFL football.

I also think baseball is going to try to have fans before September, so we will certainly know in advance.

Being told that the Cowboys tickets coming to Ravens stadium are in the highest demand. Even more than the Steeler's game. This was what one of my vender's said that their company get season tickets to the Ravens.

Of course this was before everything went south with C-19.

But I'm with you. I will just wait until closer to the game and see how this all plays outs.

I just really wanted to take my son to see the Cowboys for the first time and I will never go to Philly's stadium.
