I agree with Collin most times, but I can't condone this one. As DAL gets closer to winning the NFCE, you'll notice he will start siding with DAL.
Of course.

There is one thing that keeps their job as reporters..

they have to be right at least some of the time.

There are certainly worst hacks than Cowherd..no?

That is a good way to look at it. If bike mike brings in 8&8, then ditching garret was a waste.

Different schedules, different circumstances. The Cowboys had no business going 1-3 against the AFC East but going 2-2 against the AFC North would be considered fine.

Let’s say anywhere above 4200 yards and 35 total touchdowns? Unless you want to change the terms that’s fine as well. And I like ya too brother. Only thing we really disagree on is Dak lol
You guys have a good bet
Need to include ints though, so some td:int ratio.

I'm willing to wait and see what's in store for this team when the time comes to judge them. Whether Cowherd is right or wrong will weigh no more heavily than what anyone else here has to say. It's just a guessing game. It would be understandable if our 2020 record was mediocre, considering the number of changes that were made to this team in this offseason. It would likely bug me way more if an 8-8 finish occurred in 2021 or later.

refresh your page its 2020. and I dont see an easy schedule. I see a very tough out of division schedule. Starting on the road in LA week 1
My page is refreshed and the only 2 teams that we play that have an equal amount of talent as the Cowboys are the 49ers and Ravens. The Rams will win 7 or 8 games this year & we dominated them last year, so what are you seeing that I’m not seeing?

Cowherd said Dak will be the lesser QB in at least half of the Cowboys games. I'm guessing he's not on board the $30+ million train.

I'm glad the Egals won the division. Their schedule is a bit tougher for Wentzie. Meaning he'll be out earlier this season. Maybe he'll even get benched being he's certainly worth his paycheck.
He needs to refund Lurie half his pay.

All media types have opinions and they are just as right as any of us. You can say 16-0 or 0-16 or anything in between, your opinion your right it just does not mean anything.

There are two requirements of guys like Bayless, Cowerd, etc, they must make predictions and they must get some action going with talking about the Dallas Cowboys. Nobody doesn't have an opinion or prediction about the Cowboys because it is must discuss and it really doesn't matter which side they take because it's about the same either way in popularity.

The 90's Cowboys were not fun to discuss because they were really good and they didn't have a negative until the white house and Irvin screwed up. Aikman gave them nothing, Bayless had to make something up to get that started.

However, after that team became dismantled they've had plenty to talk about with the owner leading the way and polarizing players like Romo, Owens and Prescott is becoming that. Every talking head is just hoping Prescott becomes the highest paid player because the discussion is set for this year. You get the most discussed team with the highest paid player, that was already polarizing, and you've got sports talk gold. Add to this predictions of mediocrity or real mediocrity and it's magic time in TV Land.

When he listed the teams that had a good draft and the boys were not on his list, I knew he was crazy then and just says things to get ratings. Like I said I normally turn the TV when Skip and Shannon goes off but wanted to see who he thought had a good draft that day. NO MORE!

Marinelli doesn't require the big body run stuffing 1T. Our run defense was still pretty good for the most part. And like most I like the Poe and McCoy signings but they are hot stud guys anymore either, just big names who we hope to have decent years.

Marinelli isn't there anymore, his defense was outdated and while overall it was, as you said "pretty good", it needs to be better. Nolan doesn't run Marinelli's defense, uses the 3-4 a lot, which I suspect we will see more of. For that defense, you need a good big guy in the middle, and M. Collins, the Cowboys best DL guy last year, isn't a true NT. McCoy was a Pro Bowler as recently as 2017, Poe has been a Pro Bowler twice, not recently, but Collins was with the Cowboys 4 years and never was a Pro Bowler.

It's not so much that McCoy and Poe are sure fire at this time great DL players, but I feel they are better than Collins, et al are/were...

Time will tell. Teams won't be able to attack our DL the same way but only a few teams were good at that anyway. Teams might take advantage of our CB's though untill guys prove they can step up that is our biggest defensive weakness.

Yes time will tell. As is usually the case, it's much about health, teams that can keep their "stars" healthy for the most part will wind up in the playoffs and go far in the playoffs.

At least teams will have to adjust how they attack the Cowboys, that alone makes me feel better, we've had over 25 years of no Super Bowls, and 4 years of Marinelli as head of the defense, and we can see where that got us, except for 2016, when Zeke was new and fresh, Dak was new, T. Smith, Martin and Frederick were all first team All Pro and the offense carried the team....

I like what we have on D better than this past season and that is without really knowing what we have at RDE. Just hope everything pans out.
