Still plenty of time before anything of interest starts, except perhaps a free agent, or some random spare guy signing a contract of one kind or another. Perhaps this will be thought provoking. Although there is no way to create this thread without some random spare guy getting slaughtered beyond recognition, or praised into the Hall of Fame. I guess we take that risk.

Answer some, all, none, or have a beer and laugh at the responses. Invite your friends over and make up a drinking game. A shot of Wild Turkey every time someone eviscerates some spare guy who has yet to sign a contract.

Do not drink and drive. Do not drink and wear a mask!

Football, hurry up, please!

Why does Dalton have 400 yards?

Why does Dalton have 400 yards?
He wins the starting job from Dak and throws for 400 yds in this offense first game than twists his knee in practice and the backup QB Prescott comes in.

The layups on this line, me are...

Lawrence 11 sacks, I take the under. Both hands, mortgage the kids.

Lamb 900 yards, I take the under. I think he will be good but that’s too much for a rookie.

Elliot 1540 yards, I will take the under. Team has too many weapons. He is a year older. I see Mike using him more in the passing game. He will have a good year but not 1500 yards.

Odds are in your favor but my gut feelings are:
  • Tank 100% healthy really should be getting double digits
  • If we lead games then Elliott should be closing out more games
  • Lamb really should do as well as Cobb but agree that's a hope rather than expectation.

I think Lamb is going to be good but that’s a lot for a rookie WR plus Cooper and Gallup will get theirs.

Big Mike is not a ground and pound guy. Even with a lead I see him rotating. Plus if the team gets off to a good start with that schedule I don’t see them burning Zeke out. I bet Zeke gets over 2000 total yards but he will get more done in the passing game. I see Zeke with 1350 yards rushing and at least 700 receiving yards.

Lawrence is an unbelievably overrated player in my opinion. Good player. Good against the run. He has had a couple good years getting to the QB but he is not special. He had 5 last year. I see him between 5 and 10 this year. I think Smith is going to make a big impact. I also think McCoy is going to play very well. Lawrence is also always got something wrong with him so I see him missing a couple games this year.

You are actually serious?

You are posting this at 5:30am?

Insomniacs Anonymous anyone?

And other than getting stoned out of our minds..this accomplished what?

When I was a kid, Stratigo or playing Risk was the game of choice.

I always conquered Kamchatca and then built my borders up waiting for the big attack.

But this?

Wholly crap Batman.

(Head shaking)

No can do.

"What's making me more excited than just the opportunity, is the roster we put together," McCoy said. "I know I'm around a great group of men who love to work and who are going to come together for one common goal."

After a well-executed, yet stressful offseason for Dallas, the schedule release does the same favors for players as it does for fans. A gift of hope and foreshadowing to the season that lies ahead, along with the obstacles that will undoubtably come.

"That's what makes this exciting, that we get to put that out to the world when everybody is watching," McCoy said. "That's what I love. I never had the opportunities that I wanted. But now I do."

Things are improving and so will production numbers across the board...
