I'm guessing if he's suspended under the personal conduct policy, they can void his deal. Just me, but I can see Goodell hitting him with at least a 1 game suspension. Also could they not recoup part of his signing bonus to offset the cap hit? I have no idea how that works but if any of this is true, it sounds like they are certainly looking for a way to get out the deal. In other words, they realize it's a bad contract.

Yes, I definitely agree that they realize that it's a bad contract.

But I don't think that anything he did is illegal which would subject him to suspension or voiding of his contract.

It's a terrible look to be sure, but not something that would get him suspended or the Ravens out of that bad contract. At least from what I can tell.

why I have to know why Woman in these cases but anyone who creates a situation where police and guns are involved but the player isnt directly responsible gets suspended? seriously it was noones business what he was doing behind closed doors and the female committing a felony brought the personal matter into the public light..very similar to zeke , so any person or female who wants to ruin a players career in revenge type manner would be allowed to continue to do this?

WRONG! ET did nothing in public ie a DUI, FIGHT , some kind of PI or publics argument or something bring attention to himself which would be the PCP Violation..

he was indoors doing private things in private residence and his insane wife/GF put a gun to his head and hes all of sudden in the wrong..

no way this can continue to be allowed, all a person has to do it create ie manufacture a situation to get their significant other suspended , lose money or lose their job? F that noise bro..this has to stop because that will be the go to move by all persons in the future when RG allows it to happen..

some of you fans are insane as you have lost touch with reality in these situations letting your personal beliefs in how a person should live their lives and convicting them on that vs that actual facts of the act..

Blue I agree it is his business and no one should play morality cop BUT once it becomes public AND law enforcement gets involve, all bets are off. At least that's how I think the league sees it........

Agree somewhat but anytime a weapon is involved I think it gets league attention. NO, he didn't bring the weapon but it was his weapon and what triggered the incident was him in bed with another woman. Not that doesn't happen but keep it private. My guess is he will try and get the charges against his dropped, makeup and they both make a public appearance that they working things out via counseling. However, don't be surprised to see OTHER two women seek some sort of damage.

Remember what cost Zeke 6 games????

That says he had 99 forced fumbles last season...

but none for his career.

:omg::laugh:

Except the 99 forced fumbles it says he created. And not even a all-pro nod for almost causing 7 turnovers a game... haha.
I thought that was weird too, but they made up for it by not counting his two 1/2 sacks. (I actually pasted the wrong link, but whatever.)

we havent been bad for so long ,we just havent done anything once we get to the playoffs
Does any of it matter if we aren't winning rings? We like to talk down on teams like the Lions, Commanders, Browns, etc... but we haven't been any better over the past 25 plus years.

Is illegal the standard? It probably should be, but "conduct detrimental' seems to be overly inclusive at times when it comes to the NFL.

It's definitely us or Philadelphia, but I just don't have faith in us when its a toss-up, we've been so bad for so long.
Rather not be the favorites. Not sure if we do better that way, or if we tend to choke when we are.

Why? Did he approach Tomlin about signing him when he was up in BAL? What an awesome person.

Like he's the only NFL player with a wife and a girlfriend......... Bad news folks: if we start holding NFL players to the same moral standards most of us are judged by, there wouldn't be much of a league.
If he is indeed cut, it wont be because of this. They may say it had something to do with it, but it will because they want out the contract.

The incident may be relevant in that I could give them that out depending on the language in his contract
