It is becoming clearer and clearer that this team was coached by a bunch of maroons

Clearer? How do you get clearer than crystal clear?

We've known the coaching was sub-par on this team since Parcells left.

I said when he got here, when people were hyperventilating over Richard duplicating the success of the Seahawks defense in Dallas, that we had no way of knowing if his success was due mostly to him, or mostly due to having Chancellor, Sherman, etc.

Looks like it was the latter...

I think it's pretty clear based on the type of safeties (and corners) that we've got that Nolan prefers more of two-deep coverage with his corners playing press man.

:hammer:
Anyway.....thanks for the breakdown...and time marks.....busying working today...or I would have done this....just didn't want this gold to slip through unnoticed. Just goes to show how badly we were being coached up last year.

Did they discuss why Kris Richard is still unemployed, to the best of my knowledge? That would be the big elephant in the room.

Nah never got into any personal things about KR, just the football side of it.

Lack of experience? He was the head coach for 10 years! He didn’t have the right stuff to be the coach and he squandered a lot of talent while enriching his pockets. Sounds like a thief!

One thing's for sure, he wasn't/isn't stupid, managed to be head of the most visible NFL team for 10 years and become a multi-millionaire.

Too bad he wasn't football-smart as well.

:(

He was not ready from the start . and he never gained any experience from what he did all these years he just kept repeating the same motion every year hoping it would work .....to think of it I am start to think maybe his clapping was a form of fight-or-flight response to his anxiety disorder

Oh, I agree. The entire coaching staff should have been canned ages ago starting with the Clapper.

So glad that mess is behind us. The disappointing part is so many careers were wasted on an incompetent coaching staff.
I was literally thinking that when I started reading your post. So many guys careers that could have had a super bowl trophy added to their collection. What a bunch of jagaloons we had at coaching

As is the case a lot of the blame lies with Jerry, a non-football guy making football decisions, and for all of his smarts, he seems to fall for a good line of bull you-know-what from people, like Wade Wilson. Wilson ruined Romo and nearly Dak, no hope for Tony of course but Dak still has time to get better (if he can of course, lots of disagreement there, we all know).

He keeps coaches around for years with limited success, fires or fails to keep people who do produce, like Joe Avezano…(sic)...

So, wait. Richard wasn’t an amazing coach just because he yelled at everybody and fought with Eagles players in warmups? Because I was told that’s what we needed over and over and over again. It’s almost like the mob worked itself up and ran off in a direction regarding a coach with absolutely no idea whatsoever what it was talking about.

And now we’re in the part where we pretend that didn’t really happen and let’s just move on because it’s in the past. I feel like maybe we’ve seen this script before.

On a completely unrelated note: have you guys noticed how amazing Mike McCarthy is? It’s like night and day around here since he’s been hired. We signed those two veteran DTs whose names I recognize and then also got lucky in the draft. That’s what I’m talking about!

Seems like a loyalty thing. Either way it’s not good for football. Have to make tough decisions.
