So glad that mess is behind us. The disappointing part is so many careers were wasted on an incompetent coaching staff.

Agreed on both!! The future looks bright for once. I cannot wait to see this team with a competent coaching staff. As far as wasted careers, absolutely. Whether the person reading this was/is a fan of Romo or not, you have to admit, it really handicapped him being tethered to JG his entire career. I'd like to dream he could've accomplished so much more with a different staff (along with so many other players).

Speaks to the talent level of the team that they were to win as many games as they did these last few years with dumb and dumber in charge

George Edwards and his blitzes packages in Minnesota. In terms of blitzing specifically, Minn always drew up blitzes so one man was rushing free, the Cowboys draw up blitzes that still emphasis the D-line winning. Said Edwards was a defensive genius and was Zimmer’s right hand man. (Played in Minnesota)

I am more excited about George Edwards than I am Mike Nolan.

I think it's pretty clear based on the type of safeties (and corners) that we've got that Nolan prefers more of two-deep coverage with his corners playing press man.

I always loved that type of Defense. 2 deep man under.

Less windows.

still think it is amazing this team won as many games as they did on talent alone. also annoys me a lot that jerry wasted so much talent on rookie deals with his garrett love affair when every one watching the games even casually saw they were out coached and out schemed every single week.

My disdain and pure hatred for Garrett , old senile and Richard just increased 100000 fold.

It's disgusting that so much talent has been wasted over the last 10 years by outdated, ignorant men
And jerry let them sit back and make such poor decisions. One offseason w McCarthy and look at the difference in decision making

Around 27:00 min mark

Wow a lot of nuggets, first one I found was Chido told Iloka in an interview that he always played nickel C/S in college. Barely play outside CB until we drafted him, what a JG and company move to switch a guys position lol.

I’m listening to it now will update with topics and time stamps
And it was so obvious. It was in the scouting reports.

Very interesting. The way IIoka was talking about Edwards, it appears to be a great hire. Always getting a guy free on the blitz, get's me excited. Being able to stop the run with just the front 7 is paramount.

Yep. I thought that was pretty significant.

What an absolute cluster. Has it ever been determined who came up with this arrangement? Were they trying to recreate the Wade/Jason dysfunction days?

Why can't the local reporters actually do some legwork instead of just being PC note-takers and puff piece writers?
I wish this applied to ALL reporters at every network. Instead we have puppets who follow orders from their bosses and dish out propaganda en masse.
