My most underrated players would be Tyrone Crawford and Jordan Lewis.

I can’t really think of 5. Those others mentioned appear to IMO to be rated high enough.

So much of our talent is over rated or over hyped. Not many fall under the radar screen as underrated unless they haven't seen much playing time.

Noah Brown might be another underrated. Possibly Pollard. Both illustrated some talent when given an opportunity but not enough snaps to fully see is how I’d describe underrated.

I agree with your list Bullet...specially CB Anthony Brown.
been enjoying the free NFL GamePass and one thing I came away with from re-watching those games over the last few years....Im too hard on Anthony Brown...he's a solid player who just needs to be more consistent.

I'll add I think DE Demarcus Lawrence may not be under-rated.....but he is as a run defender.

Blake Jarwin might not be to our fan base because we pay attention...but he is nationally.
same with OT La'el Collins.

DB Chidobe Awuzie will have a break-out year under Nolan as DC.
he's capable of playing better.
we've seen it.
I think he has a bounce back.

last one....DE Joe Jackson....has the ideal size and strength on compete in this league and be a solid rotational piece.
very excited to see what he does under Tomsula.

I’m going to get flack for it here but I’m going to say Jason Witten.

He had the HOF career and some may say he was overrated if you went by name recognition and past accomplishments.

But later in his career if his name wasn’t Jason Witten and he was just a TE in his mid 30’s that brought leadership, blocking and intangibles to the team along with the production he had... his numbers were NFL starting TE numbers and better than about half the league even late in his career.... he’d have been a solid contributor. Not a top 5 guy, focal point of the offense or Jason Witten of old, but a decent starting TE.

I understand many saw him as a progress stopper, that’s on the coaches, but watching Witten and looking at his production he was nowhere near as bad as some on this board made him out to be. He was underrated here in his later years.

Brandon Carr(Overpaid, but also overmatched due to terrible player evaluation. Good #2 CB forced to guard #1's.)

Anthony Hitchens(Very good player)

Tyrone Crawford(Overpaid, yes, but a dang good player)

Joe Thomas: Very able fillin at all 3 LB spots

Jourdan Lewis(I still think this cat can play and that he was put in a bad situation last season w/ a crapp coaching staff.)

He was my next choice. He shouldn't have played more than around 30-40% of the snaps. That is on the coaching staff.

Collins is grossly underrated by most.

People are screaming that Gallup cannot be a #1.

Many don't think too highly of Jarwin.(On the fence myself)

Brown catches a ton of flak also.

Honestly, it appears you're not sure of the definition of underrated.

He makes pro bowl after pro bowl and has been all pro, but I dont feel like Zack Martin gets his due from the fans. Great player on HOF track. When he is gone you will miss him.

Here are my 5 and why:

La’el Collins- On an OL loaded with accolades (Zack Martin, Ty Smith) Collins too often gets overlooked. He’s an absolute road grader at times in both the run and passing game . I’m glad the FO has him locked up for a while.

Michael Gallup- After only two seasons, Gallup is IMO, the most improved player we’ve drafted lately. He has averaged 50 catches for over 800 yards in his first two seasons. Cooper and Lamb will get all all the spotlight, but Gallup is a stud in the making.

Blake Jarwin- obviously with a new contract in his pocket, he’s seen as a guy on the rise. Stuck behind 90 year old Jason Witten last year, he still caught 31 passes and averaged nearly 12 yards per catch, one of the highest ypc for a TE. Hopefully in a larger role next year, he will blossom even more.

LP Ladoceur- about to start season #16 as the all important snapper on FGs, XPs and punts. As reliable as the sunrise. Has played for Parcells, Wade Phillips, Jason Garrett and now Big Mike.

Anthony Brown- Former 6th round pick, not spectacular but reliable as a versatile corner. Team thinks enough of him to give him a new 3 year deal. This is a guy that every good team needs. An affordable, reliable veteran.

So there are my five most underrated Cowboys since 2015.

Some people still think he has one foot in the grave. Would have played the full year but for a freak injury. Looks basically healthy.

Unimportant player from just last year, but he is totally underestimated.

5-9 113yds 4 first downs, 1 TD, 0 drops, 12.6 ypt 137.5 QB rating when targeted
On the targets we gave him, he was *fantastic*. If a rookie first rounder did that for us, we'd be thrilled.

That happens lots in the NFL
A good player but gets paid to be elite
Then they can’t live up to the money
Hitch is a good player and he did get over paid
