I assume we are all here to support our team.

We all see it differently but we try to learn.

Which is my answer here.

Dak is still an unfinished product.

No fault of his but he is.

Other teams have learned his strengths and weakness. This is used to slow him down and defeat him.

2019 to me was the result of his success in 2018. And he was successful. Very much so.

But 2019 was his Waterloo.

Now McCarthy? He had a great run in Packerland but things got stale, Rodgers wanted more control and Big Mike got the parachute.

His opponents figured him out.

So you ask about them being together and how long and how much winning is being brewed up.

Both of them need to change. If they do not, old tendencies will return, habits that are documented will be exploited.

So answer me that. Can these two guys evolve together and compliment each other.

Our best teams had QBs who emulated their HCs. Landry and Staubach respected each other and won.

Jimster and Aikman. The same.

Dak has exhibited some strange responses during this contract dispute. Dinner parties with too many attendees during a pandemic. Practicing with players like Dez and others when they should be home.

It's a little foggy to me what Dak is doing.

So if and when Big Mike and Dak finally come together..it has to be watched closely.

If this marriage does not work in the 1st couple of seasons, expect Jerrah to pull the plug on Big Mike, not Dak.

Then the whole ambition of the team will change again. And not for the better.

So I know you want years as your answer but really hard at this point since they can not even meet in the parking lot for a game of touch.

By year 3 of the newly signed Dak contract the team will have worsened and become even harder to watch than even now.The fanbase and even the media, not on the Jones pay roll that is, will finally honestly report the day to day negative events taking place that ultimately ends in Jerry's death and/or actual change taking place with the standard operating procedures of the entire organization. Or both.

it won't even take 4 years for this to all happen

Think dallas could possibly win 1 superbowl In these 4-5 years. Won't happen this (if it happens) or next season but they finally woke up at least. Been a terrible 24 years

i think MM gets at least 2 seasons.

KMoore is HC in training.

Dak should have 4 more seasons as starter.

he’d be over 120 games as a starer.

Strictly my opinion but at 78 years old, unless MM falls flat on his face, Jerry has made the last coaching change of his lifetime.

11-5 is probably the ceiling. It took Aaron Rodgers for MM to win the Bowl, and Dak ain't no Aaron.

Next 4 years... the Cowboys appear in 1-2 Super Bowls. I will lay a few chips on one Super Bowl championship. Given the fact we've entered something of a golden age for NFL QB play, I doubt there will be an immediate dynasty to follow the Patriots. I expect a run of seasons in which a variety of teams win titles. I expect MM to have the Cowboys in the playoffs each of the next 4 years. The Cowboys should be in the mix each year, and that gives them a legitimate chance to enjoy 1-2 seasons in which they catch fire and play at a championship level.

Then again, I am a peanut, so what do I know?

Dak will be here long after MM is gone. He’s already started establishing his HOF career!
