I would like to get Lewis for a cheap price. He makes plays. Richard didn’t care for him because of his height I guess. But none of our CBs made ints. Lol.

Sorry i cannot format the latest Whsiper from Star segmen like good ole Clapping Carrot so masterfully does , but here goes with subbing for him in some insights of the latest Whisper from Star segment:
-Andy Dalton - how in the hell did this andy dalton deal go down ?
what is it the Cowboy do like about the signing of backup QB Andy Dalton ?
the breaking deal news came out out blue on twitter, had MM reaching out to Dalton - that put the wheels put in motion ...luck and opportunity came together ; ..right circumstances and right timing inside
according to JJTs sources; inside soruce says in today's nfl, we think our team has a fantastic 3rd string QB in cooper rush ,,but think Rush is an awful 2nd QB ;so fglad we made the move- hate to have to play a guy with just 3 career passes and only played well in preseason .in .trying to make a playoff ... if dak goes down , and if dalton goes down cooper rush is good for a 3rd QB by his preseason action and success.
and what's the main things you ask your backup QB to do ? ...
1) don't lose the game
2) get ball to our playmakers .... leads JJT to this question , yooo, what is team likes about dalton in particular ? ...
no.1 - he's. accurate......
no .2 guess what is it you say and think its' " experience ? ....Nooo . it's actually his personality ... always saying he's here to help dak .. whatever takes to support dak and the team ..thats the .perfect make up for a backup QB
- Cam Irving - they signed Irving..who cares ? who the hell is cam Irving ? . research says KC chiefs he's been in a west coast offense as what MM does does MM so familiarity scheme wise he's a perfect here and Irving not a bum,, hes been a starter 43 games in 5 years ....starter 21 games in last 2 year ..
Most look at him with 6-5 315 lbs tack;e... and here's why connor williams' job just got a little more shady
Irving in 2018 13 games at LG..... 2016 cleveland RT and center for Cleveland
... so new LG could be mcgoven, williams or Erving all in competition .... Iriving is more finessse guy than power guy ...but his position flex makes him more valuable than we thought

JJT basically says no way in hell conner williams gets a 2nd contract here, says he thinks Williams is just an average player ...... chido awauzie is above average but he is still not getting a 2nd contract.
2nd contract if expectations with a first round draft pick .. tTaco ? Nope didnt make it ...zeke got his 2nd contract ...byron jones did not get his 2nd contract...LVE will get one depending upon his neck ...

i thought just the opposite with Williams, had the pedigree coming out of Texas.
Only gave up one sack his last year at UT while working at LT .
- Ironically only gave up one sack this past year before IR'ed. Wasn't like he was a project or an underachiever at the college level.
if you see his feats of a 305 pounder flat jumping up on tall boxes and shelves, you can tell hes's very athletic,.it may have been
lack of physical measurements such as ideal size and length is probably what that dropped him in 2nd rd.
- i think the critics still follows him because since he is still not pro bowl level dominant at this point as that's exactly what is expected
as a high a pick as the 2nd round - from Cowboys nation fans and media,.and i assume the Cowboys organization as well.
- Contrary to anti-Williams fans, he's not a bum. i really don't worry about him as a liability vs a Fletcher Cox or Aaron Donald because he's
played well vs both of such the last two years he's gone against them.
- And he's different than his rookie yer a LG, his core play strength has improved enough
for him to anchor better though it's still decent at this point.
The bigger problem with i 'm seeing with Conner W. is not that he cannot match up physically, the issue still persists that he makes mental mistakes that causes penalties, ala holding or false starts, etc.
And can those technical and disciplinary issues be coached and cleaned up?
-Also i will be reserve vs JJT 's shout out that Williams will not be given a 2nd contract. ...Why ?....What if Tyron Smith pulls a Fredrick and shockingly retires ?
i'd trust taking a look and a chance at an athletic Williams at LT, than i would with a journey swing guy like Cam Irving.
Now if Williams is out-priced in FA and journey on elsewhere then so be it to that future plan and we re-plan elsewhere.

Richard isn't on the team. Look at what players the current coaches brought in.....all 6 ft 1 that can play press man. Lewis isn't that guy and has been overrated here by some fans.

He is and has been a below average G in the NFL by any metric you choose. If you want to argue to he should be a tackle, fine. But, he's no G.

Nice! It all makes sense. Andy Dalton is the backup but if this season started with him I really feel we wouldnt miss a beat. He is that good. He can do anything Dak can on the field except run the option. His body really isnt built for that. He can run though. He is just as fast as Dak if not a little faster. Daks intangibles make him the better leader and can unite a team probably better than anyone in the league. Dalton is more than just a guy that has to follow a list of things to do and dont do.
