Amazing at what threads have to be started for Dakota affirmation just because we signed little old Andy Dalton.

One reeking of desperation more than the previous one......this has to be be on of the best off-seasons in a long time!

Thanks for keeping things funny here

I guess this is the response I'd expect from someone who can't really argue against this.

it doesn’t require a rebuttal. You put up the most asinine chart in the history of asinine charts. Anything that has Winston and Dak ahead of Mahomes isn't worth looking at. All it shows is how low you’ll go to prove your point (a point that only Dak can prove mind you).
Winston and Prescott threw for more yards than Maholmes last year.

I'm in Dak's corner, but come on.
Talk about a massively broad definition of garbage time.
DOWN 21 POINTS OR MORE?
Holy .....
What criteria would you use?
To me since every team has some games they have garbage time it evens out
Some fans think Dak is only QB with garbage time though in Dak’s career we have trended to stop throwing when ahead

Chiefs offense blew teams out
This doesn’t include yards from point of being up by 21 I believe
Well they broke down percentage too. Chiefs were either in games or never down big. Says 0% of his yards came from garbage time.

I think some people got confused by this thread thinking this was a ranking chart lol.

Disregarding the brainless troll attempt by the troll OP, I would say it's probably better to use win probability more than score. Garbage time is hard to measure... it's more about what the defense is doing than the offense. If the defense doesn't care if you are moving the ball as long as the clock is moving, it's garbage time. If the only way you can win is to get the ball back via an onside kick, which apparently plummeted to less than 5% last year, then it's garbage time.

So down 14 you believe should've been the criteria? Even though stats say the game isn't out of reach down 14?
Garbage time needs to be when you are leading by 21 also then. Or when you are leading by 17 or whatever number and their is 6 minutes or whatever left in the 4th Qt.

I guess Mahommes didnt have a single yard during garbage time.
yet I remember the Chiefs beating the Bengals 45-10. Mahommes was still completing passes when they were ahead.

So Dak gets all his years in garbage time
Yet a chart showing his yards without garbage time asinine
Gotcha

I'd prefer not to argue with anyone and we've debated Dakota to death, but its still amusing to see the lengths some will go to in promoting a player that not even officially on the team any more.

Don't you guys hate when people try to boost up how well a quarterback played especially when they have all those "garbage time" yards in them? Let's see what it looks like if you take out all of those garbage time yards out of it.

EXvvt4CWsAM3QCn

Here's the problem with deciding what garbage time stats are. During those garbage times were the QB's still trying to win or were they just trying to pad their numbers. Were they trying less then than all QB's including themselves were trying for the first 3 quarters of the game? Those garbage times usually come when their team is behind and they can't just run the ball for short yardage chewing up the clock. So they throw to the outside so the receivers can get out of bounds to stop the clock and still give them a chance for a come back. How about when a team is up by oh say 14 - 17 or more points and it's 3rd and long, 5, 6 or 7 yards and the defense is playing another run but the team passes or runs a screen pass and gets 25 yards on it, wouldn't that be called garbage time passing yards but nobody ever talks about that. When somebody can come with a way that is proof without any bias or error to determine garbage time passing yards where trying to win isn't evident then we can eliminate garbage time passing yards. Then and only then would it be right to disregard passing yards at any time. It doesn't matter if a team is down by 21, if they are trying to score then they count. If they didn't why don't teams just wave a white flag and concede the win to the other team and save any possible injuries to either team and just head to the locker room.? Why, because until that gun sounds they're going to try to come back.

And yet I never create posts, I just respond to them, and here you are creating a post with an unsourced image created in Microsoft Paint with the only intent to rile people up. Literally textbook troll behavior.

That is a good point. I'm looking I don't see any games where the Chiefs beat anyone 45-10...was that this year?

Lol pretty moronic response by you.

The list isn't listing the best QBs in the league, it is disproving a stupid lie Dak detractors use in that Dak just compiled his stats in garbage time. The fact you didn't understand that is pretty damning.
