What would be the issue with signing Griffin, Eric Reid, E. Berry, L. Wafford or someone else on a 1yr deal like we do all the time. As Training camp bodies (trial based/prove it deal). If we cut Crawford or restructure a deal or two, we could afford it.

Also gives us a good chance of finding a great replacement or starter for Defense or Offense.

I know the player would have to agree to the deal, but I think some would it given a decent 1yr deal with incentives or a long term deal negotiation promised at end of camp.
Plus they are given opportunities to play with a legit Super Bowl Contender and chance to hit the jackpot. (Robert Quinn)

Because these players want a lot more money than a team pays TC bodies. They will be expected to have a roster spot.
Therefore impeding younger players that need to develop for the future 3 to 5 years. Not just a one year player that will need replaced.

You have a warped perception of the types of contracts these players will accept

A 1Yr contract fully guaranteed, so that if cut as end of camp doesn’t insure a Cap hit afterwords isn’t plausible?

1Yr 7mil fully guaranteed?

I dont think think we will sign any more safeties but Reid is a good option for me at SS which we dont have on our roster right now,

Don’t need Reid’s politics in the locker room, sure as hell a fast way to lose the team to divisions. Screw that plus he’s old as f right now.

Reid is a quality player and I expect many players agree with his stance

McCarthy says they don't look at safeties as FS/SS. They are expected to keep them both back most of the time. HaHa Clinton-Dix is the direction they wanted to go paired with Woods. I wouldn't count out Wilson winning a starting spot. He's a tweener safety anyway and his college DB coach is with the Cowboys also.

And that is exactly the problem. You don’t need a split locker room and that is exactly what he does, he gets High up on that podium and discusses politics To all that will listen. That would be the first thing out of the Dallas media’s mouth in their questions to him. We don’t need it, it would only be a distraction. We cannot even talk about politics here due to it being a sensitive topic, why allow it in a locker room. Screw that plus he’s not that great anyway, rather have Heath back.

I'd say that he likely wouldn't split the locker room as most of the players come from backgrounds that fully understand the reason for protesting and are supportive.

Now, a guy like Nick Bosa ... he's more the sort of player that would cause friction.

First, the players themselves actually have a say, and some probably aren't looking for a 1 year deal. Griffin likely is looking for more, but who knows if he will end up having to settle. As for Berry, no reason to commit money to a player the team feels can't play anymore.

You have a split locker room now, and most pepole don't even realize it.

Strong men stay the course regardless of what situation arises. Is it safe to assume you hing our locker room is not formulated with STRONG MEN? Curious to see your approach on this. Expand your mind and feed it with positivity.
