I was feeling like I was letting my team down so I felt compelled to make another Dak thread. Here is the premise of this thread:

How many dollars in endorsements is Dak receiving because he is the Cowboys QB and is it enough to be a factor in Dak’s mind.

You are welcome. Thank you for patronizing yet another Dak Thread and may this thread exceed 100 pages.

You are welcome. I will be here all week. And YES this topic deserves its own thread.

Those are separate from negotiations. He blows out his knee Week 1 and it's a career-ender, where will those endorsements be?

And Luke ..... I am your father, punk.

I quick perusal of google suggests 50 million a year. Campbell's soups, sleep number beds, oikos yogurt, new era caps, 7-11, pepsi, citi among them. Not bad. Oh, and thanks for the dak thread. They're badly needed in these covid19 times.

If he signs his tender, that’s $31 million. 16 million after taxes and agent fees is what he is guaranteed for 2020 + all advertising money. Generations could live off of that.

No state taxes. He's right next to his home state of Louisiana. To work in Texas and stay in Louisiana is the dream, right?

Another question is how much endorsement money would he make playing in Jacksonville, Charlotte, Cincinnati, etc? My guess is significantly less than what he makes in Dallas.

Federal taxes would be about 37%. But that's before a tax specialist starts taking deductions and practicing the art of tac avoidance. Then there's estate planning and skipped generations planning. Capital gains saves another fortune. I'm sure dak has it covered

The regularly reported number by sources such as Sporting News, ESPN and Fox is that Dak has made to date roughly $50 million in endorsement money. Calculate for Agent fees and tax if you know the percents.

Clearly, no, this is not enough for Todd France or Dak.

There's no way Todd France and the power of CAA isn't providing Dak with accounting that can find every possible tax loophole. More for CAA to gather up in the end.

This is why those saying he's owed due to playing on a cheap rookie deal haven't quite seen the overall picture.
Maybe Carson Wentz in his class makes as much as he does in endorsements, but out the hundreds of players, he is probably in the top 3.
50 mil is a huge sum.
If you care to cash in (some aren't as active in doing endorsements) you can really cash in as a Cowboy QB.
#1 franchise in the world value-wise

So if you won a $50M lottery after taxes, you'd be okay with some organization swooping in saying that $20M was enough for you and your kids to live on so they're going to work against you getting what you should? You want to be cooperative, right?

I am so confused by your response. You stated a what if he blew his knee. His pay has a direct impact on the whole team. So please rephrase your statement that reflects both of these facts please.

I just wanted to be a part of this.
I am all tiddly winks!
Dak, of course, sucks.
We can do better. Let others pay him 39 million.
Dalton could be a Bridge to a QB from Clemson or Texas.
Dak. Is. Not. Our. Future.

I don't care what he makes or possibly is losing on endorsements. Or if he signs the tag, or a 4 or 5 year deal. Nor do I care about his tax situation.
Just sign a deal or sign the tag. If he doesn't sign to participate in learning the new offense, then good riddance as well. Though I said it many times, play on the tag, and prove yourself to the fans and media...again...
