i still ranked Jeffcoat because he surprisingly ranks among the top all time sackers in the NFL - and that
includes Haley. i thought Ellis was a solid but not elite player. but maybe that he never return to previous form after that horrific broken leg he suffered
didnt we switched to a 3-4 scheme that made it uncomfortable for Ellis here also ?
Not really surprising at all. Jeffcoat was a stud, but played on mostly very bad teams. He was a big part of the juggernaut super bowl winners in 92 and 93.

Ellis > Lawrence at this point. IMO.

Great job. Thats some searious thinking.
Man, what a stacked list!

Seems like a in-his-prime Sean Lee would find his way in , but hard to squeeze people in.

  • An older version of TO still put up good numbers with us, but as a Cowboy only, I'm not sure I put him ahead of Pearson. Romo had a tendnecy to boost WRs numbers. (see Miles Austin, Robinson, and maybe even Dez... and others as examples). But TO is a HOFer overall.
  • In a year or two, maybe Dak leaps them, but I wouldn't put him ahead of White or Meredith just yet. However, I suspect, given his durabilty and the era he plays in, and weapons and oline around him, he'll eventually be the Cowboys all-time passing leader in yards. Would be a great achievement.
  • I'd put Walker, Calvin Hill and Perkins ahead of Murray, but thats just me.
  • I'd move Charlie Waters up among the safeties.

At this point in their careers Dak has to be below both Romo and White.
I get below White but Romo is below White as well. The real question is about Dak and Romo for the last 2 spots. If we are judging on first 4 years then Dak is ahead of Romo, if it's in total career then Romo is above Dak since Dak career is barely starting his prime

Im not sure he won any.

oh someone that scowls the earth on zeke and RBs, i think you know Hershel never won a rushing title in NFL.
and Walker was never the instinctive runner zeke is ...nor the blitz blocker zeke is, and not in his league when it comes to knack for goal line

only two things we can say that Hershel had an advantage was straight line speed. but without vision instincts and wiggle what good is that
when teams will just string you out to the sideline because you can't sense opening creases at the line ?

:omg:

There literally is no logical reason to place White above Romo, unless you are only factoring playoff record.

https://cowboyszone.com/threads/all-time-qb-rating-normalized-by-year.458091/

Romo is ranked above White on this list. And before you say, “Well Romo is above Dan Marino too!!l”, Dan blows Romo out of the water in longevity and accolades

You mean the last 1 spot. Meredith is easily in the top 3 discussion.

Unless I’m missing something, how did Ware not make the ops list. D Law over him...no way. It’s not even close.
