Orlovsky is such a putz. He's been on the Wentz train to the point where it's almost like he's being paid by Wentz's agent to pimp him. Look, I like Wentz and have argued that I thought he was a better QB than Dak with a higher ceiling. But as season's go on, Dak continues to meet or exceed, statistically, what Wentz does so it's getting harder and hard to suggest he's not better than Wentz at this point. Maybe that changes, who knows.

But for Orlovsky to rank Wentz 5th is laughable but makes sense since he's been a Wentz drooler since he came into the league.

I don't get Orlovsky. I think he does good work but when it comes to Wentz....its not even because he defends. You feel he's better than Dak. That's fine. But his obsession comes across as if he's trying to be hired as OC of the Eagles or something.

I really feel there's no wrong answer when you debate Dak v Watson v Wentz........I will say when Wentz was drafted and after 2017 I thought he'd be much further along than he is. He's still relatively young.

There was a report that the Eagles considered Orlovsky for a coaching job with the team.

The knock on Wentz is that he cant stay healthy and this is probably Dak's greatest strength. Dak statistically gets better number because the FO office has drafted well and put talent around him.

I'd like to know how Orlovsky came up with his better QBR against Top 10 defenses stat. What did he use to rank the Top 10 defenses?

Wentz's team won a superbowl with him on the bench and the backup playing, so there was every bit as much if not more talent on the Eagles

That is the strongest argument. Especially when you consider coaching talent.
How did the old staff do when the QB was not named Romo or Dak? Even though the OL and most the offensive talent was in place? We were picking 4th.

How did the Eagles do when Wentz went down? Won a Superbowl. Notice that Foles blows everywhere except in Philly?

wentz has some talent around him as well, lets not act as if he is throwing, catching, blocking, running the ball by himself. the eagles have picked up, traded and paid for some talent for him to succeed. their OL is probably as good as ours, so we can't even say dak has the best OL. and more importantly, he has been in much better coaching situation. his head coach was Pederson, his OC was Frank Reich, now head coach at Indy. the two of them guided the team to a superbowl win with a back up QB who got a another contract because of those few games. give Dak Pederson and Reich and lets see the results.

Like its been stated though....how much longer does Wentz get the excuse not having talent around him when his team won a Super Bowl without him? Granted, his receivers leave a lot to be desired. But Wentz has never been a guy who's utilized his receivers. Its always been the tight ends especially Zack Ertz.

As a whole yes. The 2017 Eagles was a well rounded team. Wentz lead them to a 10-2 record before he tore his ACL.

On offense, that team didnt have a 1k yard running back or receiver.

I think that's why people say he doesn't have talent but you get 500-700 receiving yards from a couple of guys and over 1k rushing yards from 3 guys....that's a effective offense if you can get it.
