Imagine if it was a called run play:huh:

If you haven't any doubts it was a run play (or Dak optioned to run at line) look at Zach Martin's blocking....Dak ran into the gab Zach cleared by taking the DT to the concession stands....
Does your point make you a Dak Hater:laugh:

The Chickens are Coming Home to Roost
Just replay it several times and watch every lineman. You will have to tell me which one is pass blocking...

So you are hearlading Dak for 1 playoff win in 2018 while ignoring the fact his playoff record is 1-2 in 4 seasons as the starting Dallas QB? Sorry but if that is all you have to defend Dak you are hanging by a thin rope.

So Dak gave up 34 points to the Packers in 2016? He is the one who allowed 170 yards rushing in the first half of the 2018 Rams game?

I had no idea Dak played defense.

Dak won a playoff game on his own?? No offensive line, weapons, and he played all 11 defensive positions as well?? Wowzer, lol.

He was pretty darn good in the one he lost to Green Bay in 2016. He had over 300 yards, 3 TDs and 103.2 passer rating. Our defense lost that game. I’ve seen idiots on this board trying to pin that loss on him.

I agree!!
Dallas under Dak would of only made the playoffs Daks rookie season if it wasnt for Alex Smith breaking his leg one year and Wentz coming off an ACL tear rehab and broken bone in his back. Zeke and the defense had more to do with winning that Seattle game than Dak did.

First let me say this, yes this is another (partial) Dak thread, but hear/read me out.

Depending on what the fully guaranteed money is on the Cowboys proposed contract to Dak, I think he should hurry and sign it. I say this because its been proven that NO quarterback can do it alone. Dak needs to sign so that his cap hit reduces in orderfor the Boys to sign another key defender or 2.

Both of Dak's playoff losses came with the defense giving up 30 plus points.

When that happened to the following quarterbacks, here are their respective playoff records.

Brady who most of us consider the goat is 2 -2
Aaron Rogers is 2 -5
Brees 0-3
Montana 0-3
Favre 0-7
Peyton Manning 2 - 4
Russell Wilson 0-3
Aikman 0-2
Young 0-4
Big Ben 0-6
Elway 1-6
Roger the Dodger 0-1
Kurt Warner 2-2
Eli Manning 0-1

Practically everybody can score these days but defense wins championships, quarterbacks don't!

Wrong.... bro!

2nd Contracts are based on a large sample of work, Dak's case 4 years allowing the team to see his warts and skills.

Dak is being judge on 4 seasons. Dak has some fault but Garrett is gone ( 8 years sample)...

No QB won any game on his own. That would include Dak.

Did you even watch the 2009 playoff game? We lost our starting left tackle Flozell Adams in that game. We didn't have enough line depth. The Cowboy's offense was handicapped because of it and the Minnesota D was already unbelievably good. Even with Witten double teaming the DE to help our worthless backup LT, Romo ran for his life most of the game with a crippled offense and he just got killed. With all due respect, your comparison is short-sighted.

Would love to see Dak with that oline lol

Funny how anytime a Dak supporter tries to defend Dak it's usually pointing fingers at Garrett or the defense or Zeke's suspension or the waterboy.....it's always someone else's fault but Dak's.

So what you're saying is that without the best RB in the league (maybe?), Dak can't get the job done. So will we always have to have the best RB in the league to get average out of Dak? Or will he be bad without the best RB in the league?

Their scared and every day that passes with no new contract the pressure is driving them to a true shark feeding frenzy mode.
It will be a sincere joy to sit back and watch them implode daily till July 15th.
Spears is correct something is WRONG and it seems Jerry has found a new son at QB!
Now back to the fantasy Dak forums and let me take this opportunity to thank all the Dak-Zoids for the laughter they are providing us daily! VIVA!!

What are we talking about here?
I am not Dak supporter but we do kill him more than he deserves to be.
We all need to level set ourselves. It's not like Dak is replacing Tom Brady. Fans need to get over Tony Romo leaving and retiring earlier than expected.
Romo was nothing more than a good QB. Never won a lick, two playoff wins in his career. He is remember more for his disappointing losses than his big wins. Dak has the potential to be better than Romo, but I also don't want to pay him 40 million a year. To me Cam is worth to sign on a cheap deal if we cant agree with Dak. Healthy Cam is worth the gamble.. This shows I am not a Dak apologist.
People are fascinated by Romo.. The guy could not stay healthy his last couple of years.

Despite the coaching.

That was one of the best QB runs of any Cowboy QB in a playoff game.

Great run by Dak but also a good play called that had an OL and zeke blocking linebackers up the middle.

Tsk tsk tsk Dallas Cowboys HC defers slightly. More like Mic fumble but you have a a salient point.

“Defenses get you to the championship,” McCarthy explained Wednesday afternoon from the NFL scouting combine. “Quarterbacks win championships.”

He added: “I definitely feel Dak is that quarterback.”

The problem with the defense gave up 30 points theory is they were struggling to get off the field and when they finally did Dak went 3 and out or got one first down and then 3 and out. That Rams game was over at halftime.

I hope that Dalton is never more than a quality BU QB on this team, and he might even be able to give Dak a few pointers in the process.
