Yup.

They get a little bit of a pass because they were on the hook for some of Romo's money I believe, but those big time free agent additions while Dak was cheap like Nolan Carroll, Demontre Moore, Byron Bell, and Allen Hurns just make me roll my eyes even more at Stephens comments this week.

The Cowboys cap has been regulated steadily from the point of the lock out forward. Last season was the first for a break even point, and why Jerry drew a line in the sand as to pushing Dak Prescott past a manageable point for the entire team. Stephen has managed and tried to win at the same time.

They have been digging out of salary cap pergatory for several years. This year is the first year that we have a little bit of maneuvering room under the cap.

It’s not coincidental that this year we have been a bit more active in free agency.

What stopped Dallas from winning the last 4 years if Dak is worthy of being the highest paid QB in the league?

Lack of a respectable defense maybe? Poor coaching? Surely you get that there is more than one factor involved.

The ones that do not run a team nor do they know how to run a team. Even though they think they know how to run a team, in the likes of some fans and media members. I think they equate running a team is like running a household finance and budget.
So therefore think they no better. They do not.
let the team FO take care of the cap, it always works itself out. They can do what they want if they really wanted to, if they think it helps the team.

The real answer is that his father wanted a coach in here that he could walk all over, and that coach had very little clout around the league as far as hiring assistants (wow you think I'll advance my career by running dated schemes and never bothering to adjust??), etc. But he was his hand picked Landry and was stubborn enough to waste a decade of all of our lives.

Never thought of this.......interesting

Ask Mr. Chunky who can't move the ball till the 3rd Quarter when the war has already been lost....

P.S. In the meantime he also wants to be the highest-paid player in the NFL.
Pay him with Soup I say....or Tostitos....
