For many reasons I just can't wait for football to start. And I'm talking about on the field Cowboys football starting with OTA's if there are OTA's, mini-camps, training camp, preseason games starting with the Hall of Fame game. Football is the fabric of sports here in the US. We live it, we breath it, we need it. It takes us away from the politics, the crappy boss, the whiny wife and yes the coronavirus affecting us all. I want to see the reports on the OTA's, the reports on mini-camps, the sideline shots during training camp, the 54 man cuts (57 now?), I can't wait for all of it. We need it. We need it more now than ever before. I am so looking forward to it, and yes haters the season will take place.

I’m ready to give it up for a year. We’ve made it without all of the other sports being canceled.

How selfish are we as a nation we’re prepared for some of our players to get infected so we can watch a game?

If it can be done safely, then ya, I'm ready. But filling stadiums full of people seems like a bad idea right now. TV only, go for it.

I guess the literal answer to your question might be some of the construction workers in Los Angeles and Las Vegas who have contracted the virus while working on the new stadiums.

I guess you could reword it to "itching for football" and then we can give snarky replies about Jerry having crabs.

I’m anxious for the return of team sports too- but not until it’s safe for everyone, or at the very least, safety for the players. We’re not there yet, and until we are safety is far and away more important.

Until there is a vaccine the only way this is going away is herd immunity.
I'm not willing to shut down society over a virus that has a 99% survival rate,
This whole thing has already been grossly over played.

If more football distracts the AmberBeer Troll from complaining about everyone's complaining, I'm all for it...

I actually enjoy the time away and I think football has the right formula. One of my complaints with the NBA is that it has seemingly become year round, with the finals stretching into June and teams getting into camp in September. NFL football has just the right time away to be ready for another go ever year.

I am! I dont know about everyone else, but to me it would provide a break from all this negativity, and Dallas Cowboys football would do that and more. I have my own thoughts on this pandemic thing. Heck Woodstock occurred at the peak of a pandemic that killed a million people(Hong Kong Flu)..why not football?

I’m ready to watch. As long as the players and teams are in a controlled environment. Pretty sure there will be no fans or very minimal attendance in the stands.

Nah not really. I've come to enjoy the off-season with all the shenanigans.

Boom. Best post ever! (S/O Coogi)

Football ain't that important to be dying over. Heck, I want to see Luka n Porzingis in playoffs more than football.
