I'm a Millennial Cowboys fan who grew up abroad and completely missed out on the entire 1990s dynasty.

How intense was the anti-Cowboys hate back then (especially during 1992-1995?) Was it thrice as bad as today? Did all of non-Cowboys America fervently wish for Dallas to lose?

In fact we were teh COMEBACK story. We were on top of the mountain. I think that many people were happy to see the Cowboys back to glory.

I am in Philly coyntry, South Jersey and its real. Philly fans are ruthless and had a very real inferiority complex. Until they won the Super Bowl which I still havent watched until this day

The no internet helped, but the hate wasnt as bad, imo and from my experience. They hated but not a lot of talk. Wasnt too much they could say with us winning like we were. I guess it could have been more my attitude toward the hate. Back then when they said we sucked, we wont win this year, yall are overrated, blah blah blah, I didnt have to debate or defend much. Lol Just tip my chip hat at them or point to my chip shirt. Wasnt much reason to argue with them.

Now, starting in 96-2003, it was tough and got into a few fights and did a night in jail one time. Lol The truth of what they were saying was hurting me. Took me a bit to learn how to deal with that. LOL

WE had no internet back then... I was 14 back then! It was wonderful time. With the 49ers are our more fierce competitor and the wanna be packers
Internet was out two years prior (1991) Cowboys 90's dynasty.

A cern scientist ( not me) came up with the world wide web in 1989. It's purpose then was the dissemination of info among universities and scientific venues, contrary to al Gore's proclamations. A public domain release was affected in 1993.

Right. And that’s hardly anything like the Internet that we have today. Proclaiming that the Internet was “out” is a little off base.

The Eagles fans were the worst. They put batteries in snowballs and threw them at Jimmy and the players.

Nothing topped the hate that Cowboys fans had for Jerry when he replaced Landry with Jimmy.

Even 7 years later when they had won 3 Super Bowls in 7 years, many "fans" could not let it go.

It was like what New England has felt like for a while.

The hate has always been there. I think in some ways the rivalries were more intense pre-free agency, since players tended to remain on the teams that drafted them for entire careers or most of it. Back then, certain teams had a genuine dislike for each other, as did the fans.

The hate was bad but nobody cared...big time rivalry with the SF 49ers, Phil, Giants & Commanders. We were hated but respected vs hated and mocked
