Expect lots of seam routes to Engram. They don’t have great WRs to take pressure off on outside. Garrett likes go routes, seam routes, hitches and digs.

Have to prepare for 2-3 HB screens a game. No WR screens.

If Daniel Jones can be his Romo, he’ll try to light up the board.

When did his offense succeed. With superior talent at all positions.
I don't think the Giants have that level of talent.

He'll be another two-and-out mistake, just like McAdoo and Shurmur were.

As much as I dislike Garrett, he’s probably better than both of those guys. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he sticks around longer.

I just think that Daniel Jones will probably be able to run Garrett’s offense to some degree of success, especially with Saquon’s help. And I think Garrett throught that as well when he took the job.

McAdoo sets a low bar for sure, it would be hard to flame out any harder than he managed to.

But Shurmur has proven to be a decent offensive coordinator and didn't need Jerry Jones to get HIS jobs. None of them are head coach worthy.

I feel bad for Saquon. Garrett will likely forget about him the way he always has with his running backs when he's actually calling plays. Garrett has no awareness or insight into the running game. That's why he's always needed another coach to hold his hand in that area.

Garrett was a weak head coach. Anyone who thinks he wasn’t a very good OC is just too lazy to look at the facts. Look at the Giants....of course Judge wants the offense to be built around Garrett’s plan. They have a young, unproven QB who turns the ball over way too much. They do not have stud receivers. They always have good TEs, and they are finally investing in their OL. Why? Because the best player on their team, Barkley, has been wasted for two years of his rookie contract. The Giants offense will be greatly improved under Garrett, and in time, he will turn the young QB loose. Check your history. Garrett liked throwing the ball much more than Linehan did.

Please elaborate on these 'facts' you speak of. Personally, I'd love to discuss them because it would give me another opportunity to disavow the false narrative that Garrett did some 'great job' as an offensive coordinator. "Say when..."

Look at the Giants....of course Judge wants the offense to be built around Garrett’s plan.

After all, what does Judge know about offense? The guy is a special teams coach.

Yeah, 'pass happy' is the term you're looking for. A guy who's never known how to use the running game. Barkley will continue to be wasted.

Or seeing the things that the football dunces still can't...

What is it you think that comment actually meant, exactly? Because it wasn’t the sick burn on me that you seem to think it was.

In the meantime, I’ll keep dying on that hill of accurately evaluating the last HC. You think it bothers me that a couple dozen anonymous dudes on the internet are upset by that. It doesn’t. And I’m not sure why you’d think that, anyway, but then it’s gotten to be a long list of stupid things you choose to think for bad reasons, so its not exactly an interesting question at this point. You do you. We can laugh at each other.

more likely they suck at evaluating coaches,if this thing goes south Garrett is the 1st one to go.

FWIW, in NY they’re writing articles about how they expect Garrett is just a 1-year rental at OC as he’ll likely get a HC next offseason.

An ardent group of disaffected fan doesn’t necessarily mean anything in the NFL. It means that the team didn’t win enough. When a team doesn’t win enough, it’s the QB or the HC who gets blamed, period. No matter what the actual reason.

Look at the last two decades in Cincinnati. You telling me that was QB play and coaching? News flash: it’s not.

Now, look at the last two decades in Dallas. Guess what, brother?

Keep at it until you figure it out. It's funny that you try to be condescending to others with your "keyboard warriors" comment, while everyone knows the truth.

Yeah, and I'll stand with everyone else here. Laughing at you and the joke that you've become.

But 'you do you' too. Every court needs its jester.

I can see it going either way. Either Garrett will run Saquon into the ground or forget about him.

Based on past history as coordinator, it will be forgetting about him. That is Garrett's history.

Never forget the 'running game helpers' that he has always needed:
  • Tony Sparano
  • Dan Reeves
  • Bill Callahan
Competent offensive coordinators don't need another coach to hold their hand for half the job.
