That’s just not true.

Contract was and is good and it will look even better in another year or two when the next wave of contracts are done. You can call it risky but it’s not a bad contract by any stretch.

Lol.

The only thing better about Dak is his health. Which is huge, don't mean to sound otherwise. But if you really want to compare them, look at the last 8 games last year that Wentz played with nothing but street FA WR and carried that team to the playoffs. Now compare that to 2018 start with Dak and his less than best WR core. He couldn't even function as a QB until they spent a 1st for a decent to good WR. Some players make others better, Dak is not that guy.

As if they aren’t from the same draft class, so their careers can’t be compared directly. As if Dak hasn’t beaten the breaks off of Wentz’s career overall.

Just thought I’d compare their full CAREERS, you know... instead of cherry-picking a tiny 5-game sample size?

Enjoy!!!

Seasons ended with an injury:
Wentz: 3
Dak: 0

Playoff wins:
Wentz: 0
Dak 1

Career record:
Wentz: 32-24
Dak: 40-24

Career head-to-head:
Wentz: 3-4
Dak: 4-3

Career comp %:
Wentz: 63.8
Dak: 65.8

Career yds/attempt:
Wentz: 6.9
Dak: 7.6

Career AIR yds/attempt (so much for “dink and Dak”):
Wentz: 7.1
Dak: 7.8

Career yds/completion:
Wentz: 10.8
Dak: 11.6

Career passer rating:
Wentz: 92.7
Dak: 97.0

Playoff pass yards:
Wentz: 3
Dak: 794
:lmao2:

If you’re upset at the money Dak will soon be making and you want someone to blame... look no further than Carson “Charmin-Soft” Wentz.

OF COURSE Dak won’t take less than the soft, injury-prone QB he’s thoroughly outplayed since entering the league.

I watch as many Eagles games as I can.. Wentz was the Luckiest QB in the NFL last year as far as dropped INT's. That dude had atleast 5 easy INT's dropped.. Seriously, its probably more than 5, maybe even 10... The end of the game stats didnt tell the true story.
I like Wentz as a QB, I hope he loses the rest of the games he plays for his career, but he's a good QB, and the luckiest last year for dropped INTs.

I think there was an article a couple weeks ago detailing all these dropped INTs.
First Round : Reagor
Second Round : Hurts
LOL

I think the Wentz vs Dak debate goes like this, If they are both healthy and playing I think it's fair to say the Wentz is the better QB but availability is the best ability, that's why I'd rather have Dak than Wentz.

I think on the field Wentz is the more "prototypical" QB in throwing skills. Overall I think Dak is slightly better when you include running skills and especially health.

When you include leadership, like your teammates not hating you, it tilts things in Dak's favor quite a bit.

“But if you really want to compare them, take a look at the small sample size I’ve cherry-picked because it helps my argument!!!”

OR.... OR.... you could compare their ENTIRE careers, like I did in my OP.

Dak’s career destroys Wentz’s.

It hurts but gotta admit that what Wentz did with that offense last year was more impressive than what Dak did even if he had better numbers.

Again, I’d take Dak over Wentz on a long term contract because of his availability. Wentz just gets injured too much.

Just because philly gave a bad contract doesn’t mean Dallas should!

QBs are expensive. Good QBs a little more expensive. Teddy Bridgewater just got 20 million. How many starts does he have? Look at what Tannehill got paid. Three really old but great QBs just got big new deals. Is Goff and Wentz overpaid? Probably. Is Russell Wilson worth his huge deal? Maybe. Mahomes is going to trump them all soon. In 5 years it will be Trevor Lawrence. My point is Dak is worth $31 to 33 per based on his peer contracts. He is not a HoF in wait like Wilson. He is not Superman like Mahomes. He is a very good QB that deserves a Goff range contract. They need to do that and Dak needs to stop being greedy or they should all move on.

When you have to win a division u have to look like Wentz did that day. He looked like a 25 mil qb beating us down when it was on the line. Not like a scrub who couldn't score a feakin field goal against backup losers that couldn't even make a locker room visit

To those Dak lovers this does not compute. There is no stat showing the ability to carry a team with WRs off the practice squad.

Super Bowl rings (whether he played or not)
Wentz-1
Dak-0
These idiots don't realize that even though Wentz got hurt and didn't play in the playoffs the Eagles never would of won a SB if Wentz didn't throw 33 tds and 7 int in less than a full season. His 3rd down conversion rate of 7+ yards was off the charts. So in my book Wentz earned that SB ring.

If you replayed last season and switched qbs Wentz to Dallas Dak to Philly, who wins the division?
