clearly zeke at 4 was a mistake . typical jason garrett stubborn methodical old fashioned power football. does not work nowadays.

not sure how you came to that conclusion but two rushing titles in four years says you are wrong. would have been three if not for the BS suspension.

Dak is a parasite feeding since 2016 on primarily Zeke and our other talents.
He lacks the God-given talent to produce against good defenses in the NFL!
We needed to give a 1st and bring in Coop so he could start throwing TD again.
Teams do win or lose but the most important player is the one who handles the ball more than anyone and that is Dak QB.
Now you might not agree with my opinion about Dak but so far everyone has been PAID except Dak.
Seems Jerry and Sons might also hold a lesser opinion of him as of today and 2 years running no contract has been signed.
Personally I feel there done with Dak and at some point, you will see our Dalton coming in as Dak is...... well Dak.
Hit me up when that coveted contract has been signed.
I'll be waiting....and waiting....and waiting....and waiting....
Quick question. If Dak is as bad as you claim... How did he have two 1,000 yard receivers and another who had almost 1,000? Certainly the receivers weren't throwing the ball to themselves... And I have yet to see any DB in the NFL just lay down and get humiliated on purpose. They have too much pride and are playing for their next contract as well. As for your "No Contract" point... Dak most definitely has been offered a contract... DAK has refused to sign it... Let's not get that twisted. If Dak holds out, I'm glad the Cowboys have Dalton as the QB2... But for you to imply the Jones haven't offered to pay Dak... that's pure fantasy. I'll hit you up when Dak signs... Just make sure you don't slip into the witness protection program when he does.

I would say the teams in the top 7 of that draft have to be pretty happy with how their picks worked out.

Goff at 1 might be the only regret but I doubt the Eagles mind Wentz at 2, I know the Chargers love Bosa, Cowboys are probably happy to have best RB in football, the Jags got a great CB then 2 1s in a trade, the Ravens got a LT who just had a year pass blocking better than any LT going back 15 years, and 49ers got an amazing player for 4 years and got a high 1st for him.

That 2016 draft was stacked especially when you compare it to 2015.

LOL but you do.

:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Um, yeah I do..

My QB evaluations on this site have actually been ridiculously good over the course of the years.

It doesn't take a mastermind GM to know that most teams would take Wentz > Dak. That is actually laughable. Who knows.. Maybe Peter King is right about something for once.. Or maybe he is just trying to create a headline so people will talk about him.

I'm sure there is a team or 2 that would take Dak based on his leadership and his ability to stay healthy vs Wentz not staying healthy.

Wentz has played at an MVP level and he is just much much more talented than Prescott.

Wentz was my #1 QB in that draft. Most on this board told me Goff and Paxton Lynch were better.

Funny seeing how goff is not even in the convo for a lot of analysts. I’m not shocked because he doesn’t deserve to be one looking back but it’s still funny that’s it’s always going be about Dak and wentz

When it comes to evaluating talent i'm sure I do. Probably not even close really.

But hey.. Cowboyszone told me Vander Esch before the draft was Bobby Carpenter and a 2nd rounder at best when I was saying the guy was a freak talent at that position.

I wonder what King thought.

This is why when guys like him and Breer ( maybe a couple others ) talk, I listen. Catch tripping.....we've shared Cowboys boards for over 20 years dating back to Quincy Carter days. Good poster, just misguided sometimes (LOL).

Peter King's choices for Top 4 if draft was re-done:

1. Dak Prescott to Rams
2. Chris Jones to Eagles
3. Deforest Buckner to Chargers
4. Carson Wentz to Cowboys

Chris Simm's had Dak at #2:

I don't know why Ezekiel Elliott didn't make either guy's lists. I personally would've chosen Michael Thomas if Dak was already off the board in a fantasy redo situation.

What I'm trying to say here is.... nobody thinks Dak sucks in the real world and in the NFL media world except select members of this forum.

Peter King reminds me of the wimp in my 3rd grade class in 1954 who was the teachers pet and grew up to be a bigger wimp.

Most teams would take Wentz. King has no clue what he’s talking about.

If you're trying to champion the player who has been outperformed in every important category, it's not King that "has no clue what he's talking about".

I guess you forgot Prescott was being looked at for MVP in his rookie season. So he too has played at an MVP level.

And Wentz’s MVP level season ended up with him hurt and his team going on to win the Super Bowl without him. How valuable was he really?

Guess we're back to talking about the teams record again and avoiding anything to do with stats. You realize 8-8 is a stat, right? Even if the Cowboys had beat the Eagles and made the playoffs, you would still be spewing your Dak sucks rhetoric. The only difference is, instead of saying "he couldn't even beat their third stringers", you would be saying, "So what, Dak only beat their third stringers. He still sucks". Even if the Cowboys win the SB this year, you and some others, are already laying the groundwork to take that away from him, with your BS about how "Loaded" the team is. If the Cowboys win the SB... You and a couple others will give zero credit to Dak. All the credit will go to the pieces around him and coaching... Funny thing is... that's the way it should always be... Teams win and teams lose... No one person takes the field be himself.
Last I check W-L is a coach and QB stat too, funny thing is 2016 -2019 Dak has the same record as Garrett yet Garrett is a POS, Ever think Dak was the limiting factor, just have to wonder how many coaches will he will cost their jobs, what's it at 4 now in 4 years. Win the SB Dak will have no problems, but you know that isn't happening , W-L it is a QB stat when you want it to be but 8-8 that is a team record, I bet you were a Kris Richard for HC type of guy.

We play the Giants and Skins 4 times a year. Also, throw in his Garbage stats well there go bud 1000 yard WR.
The reason Dak refuses to sign it is probably because it's much lower than Wentz and Goff if in fact a decent contract has been offered.
What is amazing is that Jerry pays and he pays big but as I've stated in the past only TALENT gets paid not bus drivers!
