If you are saying Garrett is some sort of hex or curse I get it. I agree
But if your saying Garrett has instilled a culture within the Giants as the OC who has probably never met majority of the team due to the pandemic then idk about all that.
It was a joke and yes it was meant as Garrett being a curse

Happens all the time. Maybe some guy (let’s call him Fred) saw a gun on Baker’s waist and started laying things down next to Baker and Dunbar while the two were playing cards and watching a movie. Baker and Dunbar didn’t notice it at first due to the movie being so engaging. The two begin to notice after the other party goers follow suit (no pun intended) with Fred. They then accept the gifts. Baker yells “shoot him” at the direction of the TV (Dunbar happened to be in that direction as well). And they then are seen running out of the party into their expensive vehicles to tell their girlfriends how polite everyone was at the party.
We just can't fathom being NFL players and what they go through. Things just happen to them, accidental armed robbery and accidental orgies to other players.

Are these current players or ex-players? Because I can't envision a current player robbing someone.

I haven’t read through this text thread so there might be more info about the incident that I am not aware of as of yet. But to answer your question I bet it’s not your usual robbery but an incident where they went to retrieve something from someone they know and assaulted them while threatening with a hand gun. Kinda like the OJ incident.

Armed robbery in Miramar? Insert Top ‘Gun’ joke here...

or maybe it’s not the same place lol

It takes a couple of real mavericks to pull a stunt like this. A man so cold they would use a firearm must be real iceman. Just like a viper, they pulled out their stingers and heisted the goods. This is not a joke. These men were not jesters. After a signing bonus and a healthy check, what goose would do something like this. They are in real trouble, because this is not Hollywood. The wolf will be knocking at their door soon. Each of these two bad actors will become a slider into the penal system. Perhaps they can become pen pals with a hot cougar on the outside. Because I fear it will take Merlin to magically get them out of this jam.

Why. Why would they do that. If they are high round picks then they have money.

I wonder how many 1st rounders, or any NFL players really, have filed for bankruptcy. Some people are just flat out stupid with their money.

I haven’t read all the details in this story, but I thought I saw gambling was mentioned.

So yes...they should have a lot of money. It doesn’t mean they actually do.

Its tough living day to day as a football player. Especially as a late round first round pick. Only 10mil over 4 years.

How can you live on that??

:flagwave:

Obviously this is a mistake.

Look a likes?

Mistaken identities?

If I was going to do this..

I would disguise myself as Goodell and do the deed.

My alibi?

I was in my PJs doing the NFL Draft in my basement.

So arrest me now, suckers.
