What’s “good”? Genuinely asking. Stats like those are informational. “Worst of 3 or 4” can be misleading. It’s no different to me than “top 3 or 4” (out of 4) lol. Know what I mean?

Slay is considered to be one of the best CBs

His comp % in 2019 was 56% & he was targeted 94 times.

I think with a new coaching regime that disguises coverages and blitzes combined with new and seriously upgraded DL...the secondary is gonna look much better and get some TOs

I would take Diggs and Robinson over both. That being said I like Awuzie and Lewis but Awuzie should move to safety immediately. However, I do agree they still both be better due to coaching but if you look at the coaches and who they brought in Awuzie, Lewis and Brown don't fit their mold. The thing I like most about McCarthy is every guy has to fight each week for their job and the better man wins. Just because of contract and/or seniority doesn't mean a thing and neither does winning the job in camp. That means if Lewis or Awuzie outplay the competition each week they will stay the starter.

That goes for every position

Chico's issues came from Byron Jones.

Teams decided to leave Byron alone and went after Chido.

Jones is gone and Chido probably gets moved to safety/CB and moves around in the coverages.

If that does not work, he leaves in 2021.

This is how Byron Jones was handled that way until it sorted itself out.

I think he is a decent CB.

chido gave up in a lesser role, showed he is mentally weaker than i thought. Maybe he bounces back and push to compete for #1. Lewis is smart, athletic but even decent QB's made too many completions against him in his backup role. Not excited to see him get beat more this year. I hope both are better, I hope they use chido to his full skillset, but i'm not naive enough to believe every player will get significantly better every year that's just hype.

I agree with this. I thought the Cowboys bigger need in the draft was DT, not CB. I also agree that the problem was largely coaching and game planning. The way the Cowboys let young QBs, like Mitch Trubisky carve them up was coaching, not defensive talent. I think Chido slipped a little last year, but he get better by year end. He has the tools. I think we might see all of them play much better in 2020.

Awuzie is 6-0, 202 (when drafted) and had a 39.5 vert. That's considered a big CB.
