Best threesome at widereceiver in Dallas history?? In my hand I got Joey Galloway. Terry Glenn and Antonio Bryant. Anybody want to say they have a better 3??? Now the three we have this season maybe one for the ages but as of now I think my hand would be hard to beat.

Wouldn't it be the last 3? Gallup, Cooper, and Cobb? Gallup and Copper had 1000 yards and Cobb almost had 1000.

This is the best trio they've ever had.
On paper maybe , We will see this year when the pigskin meets the palms. The best don't sit out with the game on the line or drop the ball in the clutch .

These 3 have the potential to be the best but somebody has to at least catch a TD pass in a SB before we crown them

No way were they the best threesome at WR the Cowboys ever had. They played their best football with other teams. lol Terry Glenn was the only one who had a 1000 yard season for the Cowboys. Most of the time those receivers were together the Cowboys didn’t have a QB and the team struggled.

Bob Hayes , Lance Alworth and Ron Sellers Hard to beat 2 HOFers

Alworth and Sellers only played one season together, the 72 season and combined for less than 800 yards. Lance Alworth was completely washed up by 72, he had less than 150 yards receiving that season. Bob Hayes was also in deep decline when they all three played together. He only had 200 yards receiving in 1972. Had all three played together in their primes they would have been the best threesome the Cowboys ever had. When picking the best threesome at WR in Cowboys history, you need to pick three receivers who were playing at their best at the same time.

It’s a toss up between Drew Pearson, Tony Hill and Butch Johnson in the 70s and Micheal Irvin, Alvin Harper and Kelvin Martin in the 90s. The third receiver didn’t get a lot of opportunity back in those days. Butch Johnson was starting until Tony Hill came along and Kelvin Martin was also a starter until Alvin Harper came along. The way the passing game is today a third receiver is pretty much a starter in a lot of offenses. You see all these multi WR sets that you never saw decades ago. Our third receivers back in the 70s and 90s could have started for other teams.

Whatever the best was, you can be sure that Michael Irvin was involved.
