The Patriots won that game because of one great ST play, not because of anything Tom Terrific did. Horrid weather conditions, neither offense able to move the ball. It's exactly games like that, that defense or ST needs to make a big play to win the game. The Pats had a great ST and very good def, get turnovers, shorten the field and create opportunities for the offense and that's what they did.

It's not a big surprise that playoff teams are also at the top in turnover differential. For a team to be successful, the other 2 phases have to create opportunities and ours simply didn't.

Score more points and offenses will play less safe with the ball causing sacks and turnovers.

Imagine thinking we were losing games because of Special Teams.

We gonna blame the Full Back not being good enough for Dak as well?

Lol your false equivalency is weak.

You’re the one who is ridiculously minimizing the importance of special teams, just to try and strengthen your argument against the QB.

It’s pretty pathetic actually.

I disagree with guy when he says no other team would pay Dak what he wants on the open market.
I do agree that they might not be lining up to do it, but I think 2-3 teams would be willing to dive in....and that's all it takes.

i also think there is a team stupid enough to do it.. I’m not sure which one but someone would get stupid for a QB.

If the Cpwboys win a Super Bowl with high paid players like Dak, Eelliott and Cooper as the Big3, I won't care how much these guys make..
However, if the Cowboys Flop the next few years, this is going to get real ugly. I mean 65 year old Hollywood star after plactic surgery ugly.

Yeah.. I do minimize it.

Special teams is something coaches try their best to act like it’s important but spend very little time and resources in trying to improve.

It’s like the NFL coach that wants to preach the importance of running the ball to me in 2020 and the part of our fan base that can’t wrap their brain around the idea that it’s not 90s football being played anymore.

Oddly enough, it's easier to score more points when the defense and ST is giving you better field position to begin with.

Dalton will get your Dak like results

This is so objectively and demonstrably false that I almost have to assume you know it’s not true, which would make this a lie. And while nobody likes being called a liar, in this case I might embrace the label because the only other option is far more unflattering.

My goodness

Its hard to tell. I'd have to lean towards coaching because I've seen Lawrence, Jaylon and LVE play far superior than what they did last season.

That is what I was thinking.. To respond to guy in the video who suggests that Dak is not good enough to win a championship, I would say that Dallas already has the defensive playmakers, and better coaching and scheme will make the team better.

Coaches just pretend that special teams is important?

Wow.

Special teams are essential in the NFL. You couldn't possibly be more wrong.

The triplets were far from the reason Dall won 3 super bowls in 4 years. That was a Defensive team.

The fact that you're arguing the point is astounding. Go google Scott Norwood. That may be the easiest example for you to grasp.

Believe it or not, I attended that Superbowl and Bill Belichik won that SB hands down as the Giants Def stopped Jim and the gang.
Wide Right baby....

Yawn..

Special teams job is to not screw it up for the rest of the team.

The NFL is trying to do away with it.

Regardless.. You guys wanting to blame our 8-8 record on special teams is such a reach.

Using key metrics from PFF’s QB Annual, the analytics show that Prescott was substantially better than Carson Wentz from a clean pocket, produced more positively graded plays, avoided negative plays, was on target more often, had a better adjustedcompletion percentage and was more efficient on third down. Carson Wentz LMAO
And having better metrics than Carson Wentz means what exactly?
Wentz is the standard....lol

All I'm saying is that special teams in the nfl, in general is essential. I'm not blaming our record on anything. It's sad you have no understanding of what field position means in football. Just dumb.

I just don’t agree with your opinion. Because I know four years from now the price tag will be 50 million. The price is never the issue. It’s just an argument. That people try to use
Price, cap,,, funny how so many think that signing an average QB at market price now means anything.
Its not about the money, its about the talent.
