I usually try to stay out of this debate, but this is laughable. You won’t find a single person, the doesn’t own a pair of Dak pajamas, that agrees with that statement.

There was a time when I was comfortable saying there wouldn’t be a GM in the league that would favor Dak over Wentz. I no longer think that’s the case...there would be some. But it’s basically a injury risk reason.

EDIT: nevermind...I read this take wrong at first. You were talking about the talent around

them...my bad
Lol I was like.. than I read all what you said.. it’s all good

Prescott has always had a running game next to him. Some don't appreciate just how huge and important that is for a QB. People can talk about wide receivers, coaching, whatever but if a QB has a running game then it generally means the offensive line is rolling. Yes it's different for run and pass protection but regardless if a QB has a running game then they are laughing.
Zeke is great. But he's not the only good running back in the league. Eagles have had some good ones.

The knock on Wentz is that he cant stay healthy and this is probably Dak's greatest strength. Dak statistically gets better number because the FO office has drafted well and put talent around him.
Stop it. Philly won a superbowl without Wentz. So this myth about talent is just that, a myth

Seasons ended with an injury:
Wentz: 3
Dak: 0

Playoff wins:
Wentz: 0
Dak 1

Career record:
Wentz: 32-24
Dak: 40-24

Career head-to-head:
Wentz: 3-4
Dak: 4-3

Career comp %:
Wentz: 63.8
Dak: 65.8

Career yds/attempt:
Wentz: 6.9
Dak: 7.6

Career AIR yds/attempt (so much for “dink and Dak”):
Wentz: 7.1
Dak: 7.8

Career yds/completion:
Wentz: 10.8
Dak: 11.6

Career passer rating:
Wentz: 92.7
Dak: 97.0

Playoff pass yards:
Wentz: 3
Dak: 794

Stop making so much sense.!! You will confuse the inmates.

I don’t think anyone’s ever denied wentz is more talented but by no means is he the better player. I’d take Dak over Wentz any day that guy is a injury or fumble waiting to happen

Yup coaching, scheme, adjustments man.. foles freaking won there completing 73% of his passes in the playoffs and averaging 325 yards a game in the playoffs. Following year takes a 5-6 team and goes to the playoffs. Wentz doesn’t have the talent Dak has. But let’s be real he does have talent, best tight end combo in the league, one of the best lines in the league and the way they scheme to use those running backs , ( look at the bufflo and Green Bay game) is on point. That scheme they run over in philly makes the job easy for the QBs. We have seen what happens with backups in Garrett’s offense
Yeah..

Let me open wide and jam 3 fingers down my throat.

That should be the new Dak sign.

Oh..and one hand around your throat choking thyself.

wouldn't that be a pretty picture hanging on the wall at ground level at ATT in 2020?

Seems appropriate.

While Dak wants all of us to forget his putrid games in 2019.

I won't. Neither should Jerrah.

When Dak says I want $40 mil..

Jerrah should open his notebook an hand the game summary of each lost game, should be 8 of them, and the writers comments should be yellow highlighted.

End of negotiation.

Zeke is great. But he's not the only good running back in the league. Eagles have had some good ones.

I agree the Eagles have had some good running backs over the past four years. But it has been more running back by committee and apart from Jay Ajayi who really gave them a helping hand in '17, I don't really think they have had a running back gaining the yard old fashioned yards like Zeke. Sanders is good but he's like more shifty and he's not an every down back and a guy taking the amount of carries that Zeke does. The extension of their running game with the screens etc was very good against the weaker teams last season but I much prefer Zeke with Pollard backing up.

I dont get why people want to compare dak and wentz, why always wentz?
For being a 1st round pick wentz hasnt been all that good. and he gets hurt every year.

I prefer them too but what they have can win you games if used correctly.

I think it’s a few reasons. People on this site really wanted Wentz that year. Some still haven’t come to the realization that his career is a big incomplete.

IF, and that is a HUGE if; both played up to their FULL potential: Wentz would be better.

But, that is NOT reality. Dak has done it day in and day out. Every game. Some great, some not so great. So in everyday reality: Dak is better.

With all of that said, I'd roll with Dalton.

I have some ambivalence about both QB's.

But while there may be a objective statistic or 2 favoring Wentz, there are dozens upon dozens of those same objective stats that favor Dak.

There is no rational argument saying Wentz is better then Dak. And the eyeball test is not a rational argument
