Phyllis, Brent Musberger, Irv Cross, and Jimmy the Greek. That was the pregame to many Cowboys encounters in the 70s. She was beautiful and fun.

Death comes to us all. May she RIP.

She was a big Cowboys fan and the first female co-anchor on the NFL today. I would have preferred seeing this thread in the Fan Zone or at least in the NFL Zone.

I posted this in the NFL Zone because I thought the Mod's would move it from the Fan Zone. Apparently someone had already posted it here because they merged my thread with this one, which is great. I'm just glad a lot of fans still remember her. What a classy lady. In those days, with no social media, it wasn't easy getting a Cowboys fix of information, unless you got the Cowboys Weekly.

She was part of the made the old NFL Today great. She never tried to hide the fact that she was a Cowboys fan.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Despite being one of the first (I think THE first) female on an NFL show, she somehow managed to be accepted. And she was damned pretty too.
