Im glad Jason is gone and it will be very interesting to see how he does with Daniel Jones and Barkley. Im guessing 8-8 would make the fans in NY happy.

I have been sort of interested about how Garrett is being taken in the Big Apple.

We will play him twice a year for now,

Look at the spin on his expectations..

These guys are making points that sound awfully familiar. I can’t quite put my finger on it. But if we believe them, just based on the evidence they present here, doesn’t that mean we have to believe so much of what we want so badly to be true in the first place is just total bull****? That doesn’t seem right.

This is very confusing.

Quick, somebody make a post cherry-picking some stat we can use as a counter argument so that we can all bark at each other some more until we get tired and lie down for a nap. Then we can wake up and pretend the reality didn’t actually happen and just go back to what we want to believe in the first place.
All I can think of saying is Garrett Sucks!!! Good thing I've moved on, so I won't say it.

I'm sooo glad that idiot Jason Garrett is no longer a Cowboy. He has done considerable damage to the Cowboys and has wasted talented players like Romo all these years because all he wanted to do was prove to everyone what a 'genius' he really was.

Worst coach in Cowboys history for sure.

I actually LIKE Jason Garrett, and yes we DID miss something with him.

Consistently winning.
In game adjustments.
Clock management.

I am sure that there are other things that we missed, but we have done without for so long that it feels normal.

Yes worst coach Cowboys has ever had.

Campo was given bottomfeeders to play with. He also didn't get the support from Jerry as with what Garrett had.

Garrett had better players, better drafting and the full support of Jerry to succeed. Campo had none of that.

Frankly, I don't think Garrett is smart at all. Everyone says he is.

But someone that stubborn, who can't adapt and won't listen to his own players, is just not smart.

We missed a lot of opportunities in the ten years Garrett was HC. He should have been fired after 2015 season or at the very least, on the tarmac at Atlanta in 2017 after the horrible coaching job with Chaz Green.

Any GM who was held accountable to win, would have fired Garrett years before Daddy Jones finally did, facing absolute loss of any credibility by keeping Garrett a day longer. It was ridiculous that Jason Garrett was given a decade here,

Agreed. there’s no way in hell Garrett's better than Campo. His roster and Jerry’s decisions at the time were really just pathetic. The pinnacle of Jerry’s worst management in 25 years were those Campo years. The incompetence was at an all time high which is exactly why Jerry put in a call to Parcells. That team was truly screwed up.

There is a lot of validity to the argument that as OC Garrett is not responsible for managing the game and this is is biggest weakness. If Judge stays on top of Garrett's play calling and management of the offense, avoiding the dumb coaching mistakes Garrett makes, then maybe the Giants offense can produce more yards and points - and also wins. But I would also point out that last year's offense looked like Kellen Moore made a big impact, and it was not so much Garrett's offense anymore. Garrett still has the philosophy of lining up and winning battles rather than scheming for a particular defense. He still stubbornly tries to run when there is no place to run. The other question is, will Judge be better at preparing his team for games than Garrett was?
