Don't sleep on hurts being the second best qb in the NFL league
Nah. Mahomes deserves #2 behind Wentz. Hurts is probably the 2nd best QB in the division though.

Well, one thing we have is the history of coaching changes, the last 3 the Cowboys improved the first full year of a coaching change and in a couple of instances, dramatic swings.I've started every pre-season with pretty high expectations for Dallas - even when I thought just making the playoffs would be tough. This season isn't much different, but I'm not sure which goal I'm expecting.
I have every hope that the coaching changes are going to take us in the right direction. Right now I'm only going off of what I've read about them and I'm still uncertain. I know they can't be as bad as last season's fiasco, but are they who we'll start looking at as being amongst the best in the league?
I do expect us to improve and I don't mean just better than 8-8. My hesitation is that I don't know if Nolan is actually any good as a DC - I've heard strong arguments both ways. I'm also not sure if GB's playoff history is because of McCarthy or because of Brett & Aaron. Maybe it's both.Well, one thing we have is the history of coaching changes, the last 3 the Cowboys improved the first full year of a coaching change and in a couple of instances, dramatic swings.
I am not sure what that means because I expected an improvement from Campo to Parcells but that one from Parcells to Phillips really caught me off guard. And in every case it then fell to a flat rate. And Parcells and Phillips frustration levels were higher than I'd ever seen with either one. I think they weren't ready for the players run team.
The facts are that half the playoff field gets overturned every season. Now the field has increased to 7 teams, with just the #1 seed getting the bye. We cannot predict injuries, but here are the most contending teams in the conference:
-Eagles-with better health that have as much talented as any team. Secondary is still a question mark.
-Cowboys-it's all about improving their defense and special teams.
-Saints-probably the most talented roster in the entire league, one of the favorites to win the conference
-Bucs-Brady/Gronk should help, but still have issues on defense.
-Falcons-they gave the top teams fits at the end of the season, fixed pass rush, dark horse contender
-Packers-did very little to improve their roster, Rodgers still there makes them a contender
-Bears-they have everything but a QB. Could Foles turn this team into a contender?
-Vikings-they made sweeping changes throughout their roster, probably take a step back this season
-49ers-favorite to win, but Super Bowl losers tend to take a step back. They are the hunted,
-Seahawks-even not the most talented roster, they are consistent every year, solid playoff contender
-Rams-kind of like the Vikings, made sweeping changes, probably will set them back for this year
-Cardinals-this is another dark horse contender, if they fix their OL, could be dangerous
-Saints are loaded, I don't see any hole within their roster, outside of maybe linebacker. How do they lose to a lesser team in the playoffs
You can see it a little more with Brady with the delivery and zip on the ball but Brees has always played such a novel QB with that standing on his tiptoes to see over the line and then delivers a touch pass. He might be the closest guy to play QB that could match George Blanda's record.Am I the only one who thinks that the clock’s gonna strike midnight on Brees real soon?
Time catches up to everyone.
Heck, I think Brady’s gonna be a disappointment in Tampa.

you listed 12 of 16 teams , lol you need to narrow it down to which 7 teams will make the playoffs. The facts are that half the playoff field gets overturned every season. I am rooting for Dallas , TB, and 49ers, and I think they will all make the playoffs
You are already seeing how its going and its going great. Best offseason since I can remember.
Well so far.
From a draft perspective.
From a bring in key free agents.
When they line it up and we see on field results.... Then.
We could make a better judgement.
