So what. It's not like they are scrimmaging on the field or even meeting face to face at all.

Correct. But wouldn't you feel better about this if he WAS signed? Probably gonna get it done....I think. But as long as it;s not done then..... it's not done.

Oh I know...players NEVER hold out till they get the deal they want. Silly me.

 what do voluntary mean? You must be under the impression they are installing the main offense during this voluntary time. Let me assure you that's not happening. Nor is there a Frito eating contest going on. lol (nice visual though). Dak is not missing out on anything that matters right now and nothing is going on that would merit putting the focus on Dalton rather than Dak. Your understanding of the team's interaction right now really seems lacking. But that lack of team interaction will be changing soon. The doors of the Star in Frisco were allowed to open today for the first time since the shutdown started.

I guess you have to all figured out then....you don’t.

so  back at ya.

Our rookies aren't signed either. Better have Moore ignore them too.
I never said "ignore". There's a risk Dak doesn't sign. Until he does. Sitting this far out not a big deal.

Oh wait...I know...players don't hold out waiting for their preferred contract. Ever. My bad.

Wouldn't we feel better if he WAS signed? It is as yet, still a risk and that was the point.

rookies? Since when were you as worried about signed rookies as you are about your vet franchise QB?

No, Dak's money business is not my business and I don't make it my business just like you should be making it your business. You wouldn't be so concerned about it if you would adopt that philosophy. Life is only as hard as we make it. You being all up in Dak's money business is playing hell with you. Relax, when he signs, he signs. July 15th is still a ways off.

You see...here's the problem with arguing with people on the internet. They make up stuff you NEVER said....argue it...and strut around like the winner.

Dude...I never said ANYTHING about "dak's business". Or MONEY...or anything like that.

What my concern is we don't have our franchise QB locked in and ready to go when we're ready to go. And there's a risk we don't have him to start camp, preseason or the season. I don;t stay up nights about it....but until he's signed...it's not done.

But you arguing with me that I care about his money.; What in the entire **.....What is wrong with you? People...not a fan...especially people that lie.

I would feel a whole lot better if somebody would come out and say Moore has a command of the offense.

But they don't.

I want Big Mike to call the plays.

I do not want to take 2 years of Moore screwing up anymore.

Mikey was hired to fix this team.

Do it and he can stay.

Don't and he and Moore can both go find jobs in the Pandemic for all I care.

Which maybe touchy if there is no football to be played.

Enough propaganda.

"Forget about it"-the Fonz circa 1985
McCarthy isn't that type of Head Coach anymore. He's evolved into a CEO type.

Kellen will retain play calling until he hits a wall again but McCarthy won't wait a game or 2 to take the play calling duty.

McCarthy primary job is to set the tone and eradicate Garrett's philosophy and culture.

No more wasting talent out of position.. Crawford, Jones, Chido etc etc

No more allowing Coordinators to overhaul draft processes (best fit) and free agent signing (wr by committee) etc

This thread is a re-up of @Reality OP Pre-Draft.

https://cowboyszone.com/threads/its...s-biggest-improvement-was-his-command.452328/

With all the contract shenanigans I haven't really taken a step back to see what the Cowboys expect to get whether Dak plays on Tag or 4/5yr Contract.

Here is Kellen:

“I think he had really a good command, a lot of confidence to him. He was running the show – run game, gpass game, involved in all aspects of the offense. Certainly that’s something we can build on” – Kellen Moore told DallasCowboys.com

https://insidethestar.com/kellen-moore-dak-prescotts-biggest-improvement-was-his-command/

So post Draft, we all know McCarthy spoke to Kellen after the Lamb pick .(Dak Haters surmise..."Get Dalton")smh :)

I expect to see Dak's command grow similar to Romo. I'd argue Romo's command was evident as he forced defenses to show their hand effectively either by clock drain or player shifts... Garrett was vanilla...Romo added the sprinkles. Imagine if Romo had an innovative McVey or Shanahan.

If he lacks every other talent people have to emphasize his command.

Cut him!

Greedy loser.

Ya don't have to talk down to me (so much for honest conversation you CLAIM you want)

. I have already said it's very early. I have already said there's time and it's probably gonna get done.

But if you're the coach and this isn't on your radar at all NOW.....you'd be behind by the time it's critical.
