You alright, there Dre?
Just asking, because I know your smart enough to realize CalPoly was being sarcastic. So I just wanted to check on you.

Cal and I are in agreement on this, I was really adding to his post, I know he was talking to the ones that made crazy comments about making him avoid blockers.

It doesn't matter to me what people may think of Jaylon Smith.
I will never forget or forgive his pathetic display throughout last
year's Bears game.

I defended Dez up until "the Seattle game" where he clearly, to me, looked
like he put himself ahead of the team. I hated everything about him after that.

I fell for the "story" behind Jaylon Smith. Overcoming a devastating injury,
Clear eye view message, Blah, blah, blah... He was one of my favorites. Not anymore.
I don't care what he does the rest of his career.
He's a fake, a poser, a fraud. I'll be happy when he's gone.

Would you still hate him if, hypothetically, he rebounded from a down year and went on to have multiple pro-bowl/all-pro seasons? Maybe you won't hate him if he leads the resurgence of the defense and they win a super bowl in the next couple of seasons?? Not to mention all that he does in the community. Seems kind of silly to hate a player for one lousy game or season, even if he isn't a perennial pro-bowler. If all he ever is is an above average NFL LB that has a lengthy career in Dallas, will you still hate him? Is there nothing he can do to redeem himself in the eyes of RoboQB for that bad Bears game? Just wondering.

Guy is an idiot.

I could deal with the "clear eye view," "giving it 110%" and "God is great" bull**** when he was performing. Now he just drives me crazy.

"A bad Bears game"?

A nationally televised game where you're seen laughing it up on the sideline
after looking like garbage on the field. Celebrating when down by a lot,
Standing over an injured opponent and dancing, the 2-yard screen pass
that he helped turn into a 30-yard score for the Bears.

You call it a "bad Bears game". I say it exposed him as a person.
A total fake.

To answer your question, yes. I have a zero tolerance policy on fake people.
I don't care if he jumps ten feet in the air and hobbles into the endzone to
win the SB. I will never like the guy again.

Corncob? You having flash backs? Careful man. Remember to hydrate. All good here. Good luck and God bless.
So I guess you can’t sit down with that corncob thing hanging. Didn’t think so. Sounds too painful. If I was you I’d to see a Dr. and get that thing removed. You might not be so uptight.

And you’re the Queen of that so thanks for pointing it out.

Well that’s not very nice. Look, you are pretty worked up tonight so I will bid you adieu. Coffee enema if it gets real bad. You’ll like that.

And reinsert that corncob for you. But it sounds like it’s still there.

Jeez you seem to really be into inserting corn cobs. Kinda sick but hey whatever floats your boat.
Well you obviously have one up yours so try some Yoga or something so you can relax. You definitely need some kind of help.

That's not objective but clownery.
Plenty of LB are taught to avoid blockers and get to the ball unless the play is in the hole.
At the hole you stand up a blocker but only a truly stupid person would take on a blocker 5 yards off the line of scrimmage.

Fans being stupid is truly painful to watch.

Jimmy Johnson never once taught a LB to take on blocks. Simply wasn't their jobs.

Stupid lazy fans are getting tiresome.

When a LB is moving sideways vs the outside zone run which has a cut back inside option, even if the LB "wins" against a blocker in the open field, the LB will still be late getting to the RB.

Stack and shed is a concept when the RB needs to get past the area where the LB is located and the blocker is attempting to move the LB (i.e. The RB is coming towards the LB).

On the outside zone the RB is running to a spot where the LB is not located (Going away from the LB) and the LB is trying to get to that spot also. The blockers in the open field become more like pass blockers just needing slow down the defender.

The blocker wins if the LB goes inside the block and the RBs stays outside and vice-versa.

When 2 OL and TE are blocking in the open field, the LBs are going to struggle when moving sideways.

With 2 OL and a TE blocking in the open field, that means 3 OL are occupying 4 DL. That was Marinelli's scheme vs the outside zone run, especially when the run started to the side of the 1tech DT.

In 2019 Cowboys opponents just copied the Rams from the playoff game.

The Packers and Vikings in particular used zone running to gash the Cowboys in 2019.

No, you're a hater period. Anything and all things Cowboys you hate with a passion. You prove it every time you post.
To be honest. This guy has a lot more going on with his hatred than just anything Cowboys. He has a special kind of hatred that cannot be mentioned here. That’s obvious and apparent.

My question is, if you don't like Jaylon Smith, what are you going to do about him? Explain how you're going to replace him, don't just sit there like a bunch of whinny spoiled Cowboys fans just to be the winner of the internet. Have an answer, and then relay that message to Jerry Jones (who actually has say) and PRAY that he listens to YOU.
just like jerry listened to our concerns about garrett?

My advice to you is not to take this so seriously. This is just entertainment, you don't have to personally hate a player. Probably isn't the best thing for a person's mental state.

Jaylon was a very hard guy to like last year. Huge payday followed by soft play and a focus on his own personal brands and messaging. He went "hollywood". People think he struggles because of the injury. I don't see that. I see a guy that struggles reading plays, and that makes business decisions with his body. Loved the pick coming out of college-- but am really struggling to root for him now.

I hope he proves me wrong and becomes a dominant player-- but I won't hold my breath.

Well stated
