Garrett believed he could resurrect the 90's teams and be successful in today's NFL. He managed to convince a very willing Jones family that he could pull it off and of course it failed.
I blame Garrett for thinking it would work and I blame the Jones family for letting him go through this "process" for way too many years.

None of this is true, although I know you want so much to believe it is.

I don’t mind being called out. I just look at the quality of thought that goes into the callout post. If it’s a good poster I engage their argument. If it’s one of your posts or a post from another poster I can imagine typing with those big clown hands on, I generally just knock of a quick, condescending reply or I ignore it entirely.

Ignorance is bliss.

As you should, because that's exactly what happened.

Credit to both guys for seeing it then as well. Too bad nobody inside the building could (or likely weren't allowed).

We ended up at around 23% PA for the season (ranking us around 12th most in the league).

I can't find the stats per game, but it would be interesting to see and compare the thew W/L recrod.

Maybe @percyhoward has the per game stats?

In a way we did pass more on early downs but its hard with Zeke in your backfield. The tendency is to lean on your best player but we need to be more ruthless and pass whenever we have a numbers advantage.I want to mostly scrap the 2 TE set and go 3 wide most of the time even in goal line situations.

Linehan Gone...Garrett Gone....who's your next patsy to avoid the reality of the situation?????
We have a much better chance to win a Superbowl with Big Mike than Garrett. If you don’t see that there is no helping you .

Jerry supplied plenty of talent for Garrett to make it to a Super Bowl. We were the #1 seed in the NFC twice, with all kinds of talent, and Garrett got out coached big time both years.

Jerry has his issues, but we have won Superbowls with Jerry. We have never won anything with Garrett.

Also, I believe we had one of the biggest analytics teams in the league last year, and we did, obviously, self-scout. All NFL teams self-scout. How dumb do you have to be to take a comment like that and not question and dismiss it immediately?

Obligatory mention that this is a stupid argument anyway as our offense was really effective last season in terms of both yards and points goes here.

Finally, does he have any Tweets about our ST sucking? That I could get behind.
Who put the ST coach in place. Jason. Lol.

Another great myth perpetrated by the Garrett supporters:

That the 'cupboard was bare' when he took over an 'aging team' and had to 'rebuild'. No coach in Cowboys history had the table better set and the cupboard better stocked with talent during their tenure than Jason Garrett did.

And he still failed miserably.

That's his legacy.

Yeah, it’s on him. And it cost him when it came to getting his contract extended.

Although I do think Jerry probably did what he famously does and it limited the ST and OC pools because they didn’t want to sign any coaches to contracts longer than Garrett’s contract. Which is made promoting from within the only realistic option. Which bit them.

Game management was crap. You just knew they would fold like they did regularly! Garrett’s teams been crumbling for a long time. Hilarious some still blame a lack of talent. Not a fan of Jerry, but the Xs and Os of the HC was a major problem! He flat out sucked and a team with no balls or confidence was an extension of that.

It wasn't me that supported and defended Garrett for 10 years on here. You ran to his defense every time someone said something bad about him. You were the one saying your hero was a good coach and was doing a good job. YOU supported him being our coach.

Heck you even claimed that Garrett was the victim here and was saddled with a lack of talent. The poor guy. LOL

Your reputation is what it is. AGAIN...…….a reputation you have yourself to blame for.

I am simply they guy that got it right in regards to Garrett and will never let you forget you got it wrong.

I blame Jerry. It’s not Garrett’s fault he couldn’t get the job done; I’m sure he tried his best. But Jerry should have recognized long ago that Jason just wasn’t the guy.
Two things can be true at the same time. It was Garrett’s fault and Jerry’s fault.

I strongly believe more Garrett’s fault! I don’t know how any Dallas fan can see it differently. Jerry supplied Garrett with top 5 talent, and Garrett still found the most stupid and ridiculous ways to lose every year. His playoff teams were almost always out coached.

You tell me.

I respect you keeping the post short at least, as I know the big hands make typing difficult for you.

I'm glad that you actually had the guts to respond this time. I wanted to share this news with you. And to make sure that you and everyone else on this forum sees it.

You're not just a joke here on this forum, your reputation carries over to other message boards as well. Your name is the butt of jokes everywhere and being called Idgit is considered the highest form of insult, even where curses are allowed.

I hope you feel great about that, because that's who you are, and that's your reputation. Not just here, but you're infamous elsewhere as well.

That's reality.

But you go ahead and get back to the delusional world that you clearly live in where you believe that what you think about anything even matters anymore.
